Position Summary
As a Marketing Administrator, your primary responsibility will be to support the marketing department by improving data quality and executing various marketing initiatives. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate data management within Salesforce, executing email campaigns, keeping our customer website up to date and preparing basic monthly reporting.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Target Market List: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and refine target market lists based on specific criteria and segmentation. Utilize available data sources and tools to identify and update target accounts and contacts.
  • Data Quality Improvement: Take ownership of data management within Salesforce, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for leads, contacts, accounts, and opportunities. Regularly review and cleanse data to maintain data integrity and reliability.
  • SFDC Maintenance: Manage and maintain Salesforce data, including creating and updating records, monitoring data quality. Collaborate with the sales operations team to align processes and optimize Salesforce usage for marketing needs.
  • Email Campaigns (Set up): Support the execution of email marketing campaigns by setting up and configuring email templates, creating email lists, segmenting audiences, and scheduling email sends. Ensure accurate tracking of email performance and monitor campaign metrics.
  • Customer Website Updates: Assist in creating, updating and maintaining pages within the customer website as necessary.
  • ABM Campaigns (List Work, SFDC Campaigns): Assist in Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns by performing list segmentation, data analysis, and target account research. Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate ABM campaign activities, including the creation of personalized messaging and content.
  • Administrative support: Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, managing marketing calendars, and assisting with marketing-related documentation and presentations.

Competencies
  • Data Management: Proficiency in managing and maintaining data within Salesforce or similar CRM systems. Ability to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and cleanliness. Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret marketing data to derive meaningful insights and make data-driven decisions.
  • Organization and Coordination: Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple marketing initiatives, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Ability to coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to execute marketing campaigns and projects successfully.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey marketing information, collaborate with team members, and present findings and recommendations.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in maintaining accurate and precise data, as well as executing marketing campaigns with high-quality content and visuals. Strong proofreading and editing skills to ensure error-free marketing materials.
  • Problem-solving: Ability to identify challenges or issues in marketing processes, campaigns, or data management and propose creative solutions. Proactive in troubleshooting problems and addressing them efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, project requirements, and evolving marketing strategies. Ability to embrace new technologies, tools, and platforms to enhance marketing efforts and improve efficiency.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within the marketing team and across departments. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, contribute ideas, and support colleagues to achieve common goals.

Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree in marketing, business administration, communication or relevant
  • Experience with a CRM, ideally Salesforce, and experience in managing and maintaining data within such systems
  • Experience with email marketing platforms, campaign setup, and performance tracking considered an asset
