The Sales & Marketing Executive is responsible for identifying business opportunities, onboarding new clients, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. The role involves understanding logistics operations, global logistics requirements, and providing customized solutions to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through cold calling, networking, digital marketing & referrals.
- Meet monthly and quarterly sales revenue targets.
- Understand and sell services like express courier, air freight, sea freight, DDU/DDP, customs clearance, warehousing, etc.
- Prepare sales proposals, quotations & pricing comparisons for clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through high-quality service and regular follow-ups.
- Coordinate with operations team for smooth shipment execution and service delivery.
- Maintain CRM/database for leads, inquiries & sales pipelines.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and attend industry events/exhibitions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor pricing & service offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1–3 years experience in logistics / courier / freight forwarding (preferred).
- Strong communication, negotiation & presentation skills.
- Understanding of INCO Terms, shipping terms, HS codes, commercial invoices, export-import documentation.
- Target and result-oriented approach.
- Ability to understand customer pain points and provide solutions.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
Education
- Graduate in any stream (Logistics / Supply Chain certification preferred).
