FLYMOTION is hiring a full-time Marketing Assistant! This position will help develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns. This role is responsible for researching and identifying marketing trends and opportunities for growth. It also includes: writing marketing materials, such as white papers, blogs, case studies, and social media content; graphic design associated with new and ongoing marketing initiatives; video and photo deliverables as part of a marketing campaign. Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsibilities & Duties (list not exhaustive)
- Work to execute marketing strategy for campaigns and product launches across online marketing platforms
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of all communications to promote company message and engage target audiences
- Create content that is unique, engaging, and can be shared across multiple platforms
- Develop visually compelling creative assets for emails, website, social media platforms, digital media ads, and merchandise, ensuring design and copy align with current brand campaigns
- Help develop and execute marketing campaigns, including digital campaigns involving SEO, SEM, Google Adwords, Digital Display, etc.
- Analyze results from marketing campaigns and provide recommendations to executive team
- Perform website content and technical audits, to include keyword optimization, improvements in user experience
- Stay up to date on marketing/advertising trends and provides insights to apply to current projects
- Stay up to date on marketing tools/platforms (including participating in software trial runs) and provides thoughtful recommendations for creative team consideration
- Help deliver photo and video assets internally and for clients throughout various marketing campaigns
Qualifications and Other Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required, from a four-year college or university (Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, or related field preferred)
- 1-3 years of relevant experience, including a solid understanding of and actively engaged in using social media platforms and marketing platforms (i.e. Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, HubSpot, MailChimp, Constant Contact, Webflow, etc.)
- Proficient in graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, etc.)
- Well-versed in digital media and social media analytics platforms, plus web monitoring tools - Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Google Adwords, SEMRush, etc.
- Knowledge and understanding of the principles of advertising, marketing, and digital media.
- Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable interacting with clients and vendors operating in public safety, defense, and government spaces
- Prior experience capturing photo or video footage in a live environment
- Extremely detail-oriented and resourceful, ability to work independently
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Excellent video editing skills
- Excellent understanding of design methods and best practices
- Prior experience working in a team environment
- Prior experience working with external agencies and vendors
- Must be energetic, self-motivated, a quick learner, and demonstrate a strong personal desire to achieve results.
- Exceptional project management and time management skills, which includes the ability to prioritize project deadlines.
