Overview and Purpose:
Banneker Ventures is a leading real estate development and construction firm seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant/Graphic Designer. This role combines strong design skills with marketing execution to support branding, communications, and business development. You will collaborate across departments to produce high-quality visual and written materials while ensuring consistency in brand messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Graphic Design & Marketing Collateral:

Design and update capability statements, brochures, presentations, flyers, and project sheets.

Create compelling graphics for print, digital platforms, and event/project signage.

Maintain consistent brand visuals across all media and communications.
Content Creation & Digital Marketing:

Assist in the creation of email campaigns, advertisements, and marketing materials.

Support updates to website content and layout to ensure a current and engaging user experience.

Coordinate the creation of employee bios, project summaries, and portfolio documentation.
Proposal & Presentation Support:

Collaborate with internal teams to prepare visual and written content for proposals and client presentations.

Ensure high-quality formatting and professional appearance of all submission materials.
Event Coordination & Branding Support:

Assist with planning and executing internal and external events such as project launches, groundbreaking ceremonies, or award submissions.

Design event collateral and manage signage for maximum visual impact.
Social Media Management (Limited Scope):

Support development of visually engaging social media content and graphics.

Occasionally assist in scheduling and publishing posts to enhance brand visibility.
Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project needs and deliver design/marketing support.

Communicate with external vendors for print and promotional production.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field.

3–5 years of experience in a graphic design or marketing role (real estate/construction preferred).

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office.

Strong portfolio showcasing layout design, branding, and marketing materials.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with a willingness to learn and adapt.

Exceptional attention to detail, visual aesthetics, and communication skills.
