We are seeking a creative, organized, and motivated Marketing Assistant to support marketing efforts across our restaurant portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and has a passion for building brands, driving guest engagement, and increasing restaurant traffic through strategic marketing initiatives.

Position Overview

The Marketing Assistant will support marketing initiatives across multiple restaurant concepts, including social media, content creation, digital advertising, promotions, events, brand management, public relations, and community partnerships. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, guest frequency, revenue, and overall market presence.

The Marketing Assistant will work closely with our Marketing Director and restaurant teams. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist and creator—someone who can develop high-level marketing plans while also rolling up their sleeves to create compelling content and execute campaigns.

Position Details

  • Part-Time Position.
  • Hourly Rate: $15.00 per hour.
  • Approximately 20 hours per week.
  • Minimum of 15 hours per week must be worked on-site at restaurants or our office.
  • Up to 5 hours per week may be completed remotely, subject to business needs and approval
  • Candidate must be available to work evenings and occasionally weekends to capture photos, videos, and social media content during restaurant events, promotions, and special occasions.
  • Additional weekend availability may be required during major events, seasonal promotions, and periods of increased activity, including World Cup-related events. Typical schedule is Monday-Friday
  • Schedule may vary based on marketing needs, event schedules, and content creation opportunities.
  • Reliable transportation is required, as travel between company locations is necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Brand Support

  • Maintain brand consistency across all customer touchpoints.
  • Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness, guest acquisition, and customer retention.

Social Media & Content Creation

● Lead content strategy and execution across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.

● Create and oversee photography, videography, graphic design, and video editing efforts.

● Develop monthly content calendars and campaign schedules.

● Monitor social media trends and implement relevant opportunities for engagement and growth.

● Manage online reputation through guest engagement and review responses.

● Analyze social performance and adjust strategies based on data and insights.

Analytics & Reporting (Social Media Focus)

● Track and analyze key social media performance metrics including engagement rate, reach, impressions, follower growth, video views, and audience demographics.

● Monitor content performance across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and others to identify top-performing trends and formats.

● Provide regular performance reports with clear insights and actionable recommendations to improve content strategy and engagement.

● Conduct competitive social media analysis to benchmark performance against similar restaurant brands and local competitors.

● Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes to continuously optimize content strategy.

● Evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns, promotions, and content initiatives to understand overall social media impact and ROI.

Events & Community Engagement

● Build relationships with local businesses, media outlets, influencers, and community organizations.

● Coordinate sponsorships, partnerships, and community outreach opportunities.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

● 2-3 years of marketing experience, preferably within the restaurant, hospitality, food & beverage, or entertainment industries.

● Proven experience managing social media accounts and creating engaging content.

● Experience with photography, videography, graphic design, and video editing.

● Experience managing paid advertising campaigns and marketing budgets.

● Strong understanding of current digital marketing trends and best practices.

Skills & Competencies

● Strong project management and organizational skills.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

● Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

● Creative thinker with a strong eye for branding and content creation.

● Proficiency with social media platforms, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.

● Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze results and make strategic recommendations.

● Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between restaurant locations.
