SUMMARY:
The Marketing & Communications Specialist supports the execution of Chapman Partnership’s marketing and communications initiatives by producing, coordinating, and maintaining content across digital and internal platforms. This role is responsible for hands-on execution of social media, email communications, website updates, digital storytelling, and performance tracking in alignment with established messaging, priorities, and brand standards. This position requires a detail-oriented, organized professional who can manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and execute assigned work with accuracy and consistency,
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Execute day-to-day social media activities, including drafting copy, creating basic visuals, scheduling posts, and monitoring engagement across platforms.

Support the execution of email communications by preparing content, formatting messages, and coordinating distribution schedules.

Maintain and update website content, including program information, events, announcements, and basic content edits.

Produce and coordinate digital content to support campaigns, events, internal communications, and employer branding efforts.

Support storytelling initiatives by coordinating content collection and producing client and program success stories.

Coordinate logistics for photo and video shoots, including scheduling, basic setup, and asset organization.

Monitor social media channels and digital inboxes, responding to messages and comments as directed.

Track engagement metrics and analytics across platforms and compile reports to support performance review and planning.

Provide graphics support for internal and external materials such as flyers, social media graphics, signage, and digital collateral.

Support internal communications efforts, including newsletters, email bulletins, and digital signage updates.

Coordinate with internal departments to gather content and ensure timely delivery of communications materials.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field; or equivalent experience.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in marketing, communications, or content-related roles.

Experience executing social media, email, and digital communications content.

Strong attention to detail with solid writing, editing, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Working knowledge of marketing and communications best practices.

Proficiency with WordPress or similar content management systems.

Experience using social media tools such as Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Familiarity with email communication platforms such as Constant Contact or similar tools.

Proficiency in Canva; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred.

Ability to follow established brand standards and messaging guidance.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments.

Basic understanding of analytics and performance tracking.

Willingness to stay current with emerging communications tools and trends.

Bilingual in English and Spanish and/or English and Creole preferred.
