Marketing Content & Media Specialist

SCM Group North America looking for a Marketing Content & Media Specialist to join our team in Duluth, GA

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting a range of marketing initiatives to promote the brand, products, and events for SCM Group North America, a world leader in industrial woodworking equipment. Chief responsibilities for this role will involve content creation, (photo, video and writing); as well as contributing to overall support for SCM Group Marketing programs, brand awareness, customer experience, promotions, communications, digital initiatives and tradeshow events.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Marketing Operations Manager, the Content & Media Specialist works as part of the SCM Marketing team with a focus on content creation (both traditional and digital) to support SCM Marketing initiatives. Duties include but are not limited to:

· Photography and video –

  • · Capture and produce visual marketing content derived from real company activities such as installations, projects, demonstrations, and events.
  • · Capture photos and videos at customer sites, events, and showrooms
  • · Produce machine videos and demonstration materials
  • · Edit video content and prepare marketing assets

· Support the development of customer case materials

· Maintain organized libraries of media assets

· Assist with media planning and publication in both traditional and digital formats.

· Supports and participates in overall Marketing activities such as, planning, setup, and execution of trade shows and events, including hands-on tasks, physical setup, and equipment handling.

Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented, with experience in both traditional and digital marketing.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, Public Relations or similar business related field
  • 3 - 5 years of marketing content creation or relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in video production and photography skills

· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom preferred).

· Sound graphic design skills with the ability to create visually compelling marketing material across digital and print platforms.

o Proficient graphic editing skills

  • Excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail (writing and proofreading)
  • Experience using CRM, CMS, SEO and digital advertising.
  • Familiarity with digital communication channels and distributing marketing content across social media platforms and digital marketing channels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Ability and willingness to travel 25% of time throughout North America (US, Canada, Mexico) and potentially internationally (Italy)

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
