We’re looking for a Marketing & Content Creator to join our team in Woodland, CA and help more people access reliable water using solar powered water pumps. Our customers include ranchers, farmers, off-gridders, pond enthusiasts, and even national forests. We provide pumps to ALL 50 STATES, which means there are lots of different folks engaging with our content. If you love telling stories, creating engaging videos, and producing content that helps real people solve real problems, you’ll feel right at home here. Ideally, you’ll eventually be able to take a video from an idea, to film, to direct the type of edits you want accomplished, to planning the thumbnail, posting on Youtube, making the title, a/b testing different thumbnails, making a blog based on the video contents and then rinse and repeat! This job has its feet in both video and strong writing and organization skills.

The Job
We’re looking for a Marketing & Content Creator to join our team in Woodland, CA and help more people access reliable water using solar powered water pumps. Our customers include ranchers, farmers, off-gridders, pond enthusiasts, and even national forests. We provide pumps to ALL 50 STATES, which means there are lots of different folks engaging with our content. If you love telling stories, creating engaging videos, and producing content that helps real people solve real problems, you’ll feel right at home here. Ideally, you’ll eventually be able to take a video from an idea, to film, to direct the type of edits you want accomplished, to planning the thumbnail, posting on Youtube, making the title, a/b testing different thumbnails, making a blog based on the video contents and then rinse and repeat! This job has its feet in both video and strong writing and organization skills.

Key responsibilities:

  • Video production: Plan, prep, support, and film with an IPhone (webinars, Youtube videos, product demos, lifestyle clips, social content)
  • Write and update SEO-driven blogs, educational articles, customer facing PDFs and marketing copy
  • Translate technical product info (solar pumps, water systems, plumbing) into easy-to-understand materials and content
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Support, Engineering, Warehouse, and Sales teams
  • Capture lifestyle and product photos/videos (often on iPhone) for campaigns
  • Organize and maintain content libraries, clean up existing blog posts, and track performance with Google Analytics/YouTube Analytics
  • Create visuals and marketing assets using CapCut, Canva and Google Docs
  • Help organize material and video filming for our Youtube affiliates and UGC creators
  • We have lots of work to do, and a willingness to jump in on other projects that we find you could have a strength in / we need a hand with will be well received here!

What You Bring
You're excited about work that directly impacts people’s lives and our planet. You bring creativity, curiosity, and a strong sense of purpose to the table—and you’re not afraid to jump in, learn fast, and make things happen.

You might be a great fit if:
  • Have content creation experience — making your own videos for platforms like YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram and are comfortable using an IPhone for filming. We are a low drag filming operation, which means that all of us know how to dangerously use an Iphone for content creation, and it works really well!
  • Bring a marketing background (entry level or above) with an eye for what engages an audience and what looks good on video + photos
  • Can tell a story and simplify technical topics into clear, easy-to-understand content
  • Have strong writing skills and some experience with writing blogs/ educational material
  • Bring basic video editing (CapCut or similar) and design skills (Canva) - we have an editing team that will execute the bulk of video editing but you need to have a vision for what should be done and what the video should look like
  • Are organized, detail-oriented, and a strong note taker
  • Are comfortable working across teams and asking questions to learn quickly
  • Bonus points if you have experience with Shopify, WordPress, affiliate/UGC programs, or analytics (Google, YouTube)
  • Extra bonus if you have a background in outdoor living, ranching, or agriculture

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1–3 years of content creation and/or marketing experience
  • Solid writing portfolio and examples of video or social content

Compensation

  • Pay range: starting at $24/hr DOE
  • Location: Fully Onsite in Wooodland, CA
