Job Role: GoHighLevel (GHL) Systems SpecialistOverview

The GoHighLevel (GHL) Systems Specialist is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing the company’s marketing and sales automation platform within GoHighLevel. This role ensures seamless integration of workflows, funnels, campaigns, and reporting systems to support lead generation, customer nurturing, and overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Build-Out & Automation
  • Design and implement CRM structures, pipelines, and workflows tailored to business needs.
  • Automate lead capture, appointment scheduling, and follow-up sequences.
  • Build and manage funnels, landing pages, and websites inside GHL.
  • Campaign & Communication Management
  • Set up and optimize SMS, email, voicemail drops, and call tracking campaigns.
  • Manage reputation campaigns (Google review automation, surveys, etc.).
  • Implement and maintain calendar booking systems with reminders and confirmations.
  • Integration & Optimization
  • Connect GHL with third-party tools (Stripe, Zoom, Zapier, etc.) to create seamless operations.
  • Monitor data flow and troubleshoot issues across platforms.
  • Continuously optimize funnels and workflows for conversion and efficiency.
  • Analytics & Reporting
  • Build dashboards to track KPIs for marketing and sales teams.
  • Analyze campaign results and recommend adjustments.
  • Provide regular performance reports to leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with GoHighLevel (or similar marketing automation platforms).
  • Strong understanding of CRM structure, pipeline management, and automation workflows.
  • Experience with digital marketing strategies (funnels, email/SMS marketing, lead nurturing).
  • Technical proficiency in integrations (Zapier, APIs, webhooks).
  • Creative eye for designing funnels and landing pages with a conversion-focused mindset.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of SEO, paid ads, or content marketing to align campaigns.
  • Basic HTML/CSS for customization inside GHL.
  • Experience training team members on using GHL tools.

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • Successful build and launch of automated campaigns and funnels on time.
  • Reduction in manual workload for sales/marketing teams.
  • Increase in lead conversion rates through optimized workflows.
  • Accuracy and reliability of reporting dashboards.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $24.28 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
