At Substance, our Marketing Coordinator helps connect our brand, suppliers, and community through creative campaigns, vendor promotions, and digital engagement. This role blends creativity with analytics and cross-team collaboration, ensuring that all marketing efforts are aligned with business goals and executed with consistency.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and schedule multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social, digital, in-store).
• Coordinate vendor promotions, training sessions, contests, and community events (onsite execution handled by store managers).
• Research, propose, and coordinate co-op advertising campaigns (digital ads, billboards, print, event).
• Create and update marketing materials: signage, newsletters, brochures, and social media posts.
• Manage website content updates, eCom pages, and supplier/product information.
• Implement SEO best practices to boost visibility and optimize third-party platforms (Google Business, Yelp, Indeed, etc.).
• Use AI tools and digital libraries to design graphics, signage, and other creative assets.
• Monitor online brand mentions and engage with customer feedback.
• Track campaign results, analyze data, and report insights to leadership.
• Research trends and competitors to recommend new marketing ideas and tools.

What You Bring:

• 1–2 years of marketing, communications, or event coordination experience (retail/cannabis a plus).
• Strong writing and content creation skills.
• Familiarity with SEO, CMS, CRM, POS software, and analytics tools.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Analytical skills to measure performance and guide improvements.
• Comfort collaborating remotely with strong communication skills across teams.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
