Marketing Coordinator

We are Go Forth Marketing, a creative and strategic powerhouse in the Carolina Core region of NC. We are a growing agency looking for the next perfect fit for our talented team!

We have a full-time, primarily in-person role that we are adding to our growing team of professionals.

We’re seeking a Marketing Coordinator - this on-site role will focus primarily on design projects across a breadth of mediums such as signage, collateral, presentations, social media, and newsletters. The ideal candidate is creative, adaptable, and eager to build a diverse portfolio across multiple marketing channels. This position is perfect for someone who’s passionate about visual communication, loves collaborating, and wants real-world experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

This role reports to our lead Graphic Designer. This role is a full-time, exempt position.

Responsibilities include:

Graphic Design (Primary Focus)

  • Create compelling visual assets for client brands across various platforms
  • Design marketing materials including signage, newsletters, digital ads, and collateral
  • Develop visual concepts based on client briefs and brand guidelines
  • Assist with basic photo editing and image preparation
  • Learn to adapt designs for different marketing channels and formats
  • Support the team in preparing and organizing design files for production and delivery.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions for visual campaign elements
  • Design custom graphics and templates for social media content
  • Collaborate with the social media team to create visually cohesive campaigns
  • Help maintain visual brand consistency across social platforms
  • Assist with basic content creation for social channels
  • Apply design principles to improve engagement on social media

Social Media

  • Client Reputation Management (responding to online reviews, escalate negative reviews for client resolution, etc.)
  • Social Media Graphic Designs and Copywriting
  • On location Social Media Photography
  • On location Social Media Videography

Other Responsibilities

  • Attend client meetings as necessary.
  • Attend photo and/or video shoots as necessary.

Qualifications

Required

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Strong understanding of design principles and typography
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Portfolio demonstrating design capabilities (student projects acceptable)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Canva and other digital design tools
  • Understanding of social media platforms and their visual requirements
  • Basic photography or video editing skills
  • Knowledge of current design trends in digital marketing
  • 1-2 years experience in marketing or advertising
