JOB DESCRIPTION

Job title: Marketing Coordinator FLSA Status: Exempt

Department: Marketing – UVRE Classification: (P)

Reports to: Director of Marketing and Sales


Position summary: Responsible for generating leads and marketing prospects for Uplands Village. Works cooperatively and respectfully with prospects, residents, coworkers, families, visitors, and strives to create a positive and pleasant environment in the marketing office. All tasks are performed in accordance with current standards, policies, guidelines, and regulations and in a safe and efficient manner.


Essential skill and experience:

  • Minimum of two years experience or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, and/or media.
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Ability to work independently with high quality, diligence, and timeliness.
  • Proficient reading, writing, grammar, proficient interpersonal relations, and communicative skills; auditory and visual skills; satisfactory completion of pre-employment background as required.
  • Ability to be flexible and organized.
  • Must coordinate with all departments to ensure effective standards.
  • Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Advance computer knowledge including Word, Excel, Canva, AI platforms, and data base management.

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, and/or media.

Reporting to this position: No direct reports


Essential duties:

  • Coordinates promotional and communicational emails to prospects, families, and friends.
  • Maintaining the computer lead management system (Welcome Home) including entering prospects data, keeping base current, compiling routine reports.
  • Acts as a back-up to the Director of Marketing and Sales & Marketing Coordinator/Principal Broker to meet with/tour prospects as appropriate.
  • Assists the Director of Sales & Marketing with a calendar of marketing events and assists with coordination in preparing for exhibits at conferences.
  • Assists the Director of Sales and Marketing with graphic design for Uplands communication materials.
  • Assists prospects initiating inquiries about Uplands.
  • Booking meetings for the Director of Sales & Marketing, Broker, and Affiliate Broker
  • Coordinates with daily operation of the marketing department, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Direct involvement in variety of marketing organization

10. Manages the Marketing and Sales Office for Uplands including answering telephones, greeting visitors, maintaining, and reordering supplies, maintaining general tidiness of the Marketing and Sales Office.

11. Maintains integrity of logo and branding materials

12. Assists prospects with paperwork

13. Writes and edits letters and other forms of communication as directed

14. Stay compliant with Tennessee Real Estate licensure requirements, laws, and regulations.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by Director of Marketing and Sales
