Marketing & Communications Coordinator (Contract)

Reports to: Director of Marketing & Communications
Type: Remote, Independent Contractor
Estimated Hours: 40 hours/week

Travel: Some travel required (3-4 times/year)

Our marketing team promotes the power of this alliance, manages global campaigns, and drives value for our Certified Solution Providers and Preferred Vendor Partners through content, events, lead generation, and brand engagement.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing & Communications Coordinator to support the execution of day-to-day marketing efforts, social media, content distribution, event promotion, and communications across our global network. You’ll be a key extension of the Director of Marketing and Communications — helping keep projects moving, messages on brand, and our partners informed and engaged.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong sense of ownership, comfort working remotely, and the ability to switch between creative and tactical tasks with ease.

Key Responsibilities

Content & Campaign Execution

  • Draft, schedule, and publish social media posts across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter/X
  • Write or edit email communications, newsletters, and promotional copy
  • Coordinate content collection from internal stakeholders and vendor partners
  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials and member kits using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar

Email & Event Marketing

  • Build and schedule email campaigns via HubSpot
  • Support the promotion of PSNI events, webinars, and major campaigns (e.g. ISE, Supersummit, co-branded event invites)
  • Help maintain and update website content using CMS tools (eg. Adding blogs, resources, partner content, etc..)
  • Help manage registration links, landing pages, and follow-up communications
  • Support CRM hygiene and ensure contact data is clean, tagged correctly, and usable for campaigns

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Maintain content calendars and coordinate timelines for social, newsletters, and events
  • Track engagement metrics and performance insights for continuous improvement
  • Track analytics and engagement metrics for social/email campaigns
  • Keep marketing folders, member resources, and promotional assets organized and up to date
  • Support special projects such as AV industry guides, webinars, case studies, and video campaigns

Internal Communications & Relationship Support

  • Assist with outreach to Certified Solution Providers (CSPs) and Preferred Vendor Partners (PVPs)
  • Help follow up on deliverables (event participation, marketing collateral, form submissions)
  • Maintain consistent brand voice across all communication channels

What We're Looking For

  • 1–3 years experience in marketing, communications, or a related freelance/contract role
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills — able to write in a professional, clear, and approachable tone
  • Experience with social media management and email marketing platforms
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset
  • Comfortable working remotely and managing your own time
  • Familiarity with Canva, HubSpot, or light graphic design

Pay: $54,276.73 - $65,365.52 per year
