Marketing Coordinator

Position Summary

HCRN is seeking a creative, hands-on Marketing Coordinator to execute and manage tactical marketing initiatives across digital, print, and in-person channels. This is a newly created role and the first dedicated marketing position within the organization, offering a unique opportunity to help establish the foundation of HCRN?s marketing strategy, brand standards, and go-to-market execution.

Reporting directly to the COO, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day marketing execution, content creation, and brand consistency to support referral growth, brand awareness, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Content Development

  • Proactively curate, create, and publish content that promotes HCRN?s mission, services, and community impact across social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).
  • Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all marketing materials.
  • Establish and document basic graphical standards (logos, fonts, colors, templates) to ensure brand consistency.

Digital Marketing

  • Refresh, update, and maintain the company website, including layout, messaging, imagery, and basic SEO best practices.
  • Support email marketing efforts, newsletters, and digital campaigns to engage community partners and referral sources.
  • Track and report on basic digital performance metrics (website traffic, social engagement, campaign effectiveness).

Marketing & Sales Collateral

  • Design, produce, and update marketing and sales collateral such as brochures, flyers, one-pagers, presentations, and informational packets for community partners, hospitals, and physician offices.
  • Collaborate with leadership and clinical teams to translate services and outcomes into clear, compelling marketing materials.

Visual Media & Storytelling

  • Capture and edit photography and video content (staff spotlights, community events, testimonials, behind-the-scenes storytelling).
  • Coordinate light videography and editing for digital and social use.

Promotional & Event Support

  • Design and source promotional materials, including branded merchandise (wearables, giveaways, signage).
  • Support community outreach efforts, events, and partnership initiatives with marketing materials and on-site branding as needed.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist with vendor coordination (printers, designers, promotional product vendors).
  • Manage project timelines and priorities across multiple initiatives.
  • Stay current on marketing trends, especially within healthcare and referral-based service industries.
  • Perform other marketing-related duties as assigned as the function evolves.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

Required

  • Education in Graphic Design, Graphic Arts, or a related creative field.
  • Proficiency with common design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or equivalent).
  • Experience with both print and digital media.
  • Strong visual design sense with attention to detail and brand consistency.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Preferred

  • Education or coursework in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with photography, videography, and basic video editing.
  • Web design or CMS experience (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow).
  • Familiarity with social media management tools and basic analytics.
  • Previous experience in healthcare, home health, or community-based organizations is a plus.

Compensation

  • Salary range is $55,000 to $60,000 per year depending on qualifications.
