The Marketing & Social Media Coordinator supports the execution of marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation. This role is responsible for content creation, social media management, email marketing, website maintenance, and coordination of branded merchandise and events. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

Assist in the production of a wide variety of corporate and department-specific communication, brand marketing, advertising and promotional collateral and materials through internal development and with outside resources. Build, launch, and manage targeted email and digital communication campaigns using designated platforms. Assist with monitoring and measuring promotion campaign effectiveness.

Support and assist in the maintenance of the company’s multiple websites. Utilizing designated technology, build and launch targeted electronic communications to strengthen brand awareness, generate leads, and increase channel sales.
- Assist in the development and refinement of the Company’s social media strategy and maintain the Company’s presence on a variety of platforms including Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Instagram. monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages as appropriate.
- Coordinate and participate in the execution of a wide variety of company and customer functions/events to include open houses, trade shows, meetings, and the employee picnic.

Administer the scheduling, selection, ordering, and distribution of all Caterpillar trademark licensed products (logo merchandise and printed calendar products) offered for both giveaway and retail sale at the Company’s branch stores. Monitor invoices closely to ensure accuracy in billing from vendors. Assist executive management and operating departments with special promotional needs as necessary.
- Track and maintain comprehensive record of department-related expenses and prepare invoices for payment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

High school diploma plus 2-4 years dedicated work experience in a communications, graphic design, or marketing environment. Bachelor's degree in associated field plus at least 2 years related experience preferred.

Experience working in a dual Mac/PC environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required. Solid experience with graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite) and developing and maintaining website content using JavaScript preferred.

Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within scope of marketing including SEO, email/text campaigns, and multi-media advertising.

Solid copywriting skills, including proofing, editing and creating original content. Strong grasp of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Google Reviews) and solid comfort level and experience building and maintaining social media platforms.

Solid project management skills and ability to multitask in a fast paced, dynamic, and deadline driven environment.

Excellent written communication, customer service, and people skills. Intense attention to detail with accuracy and consistency.

Ability to work standard five-day work schedule, including daily overtime, and occasional weekend hours as necessary.
