Marketing Coordinator

Position Purpose: Under direction, the Marketing Coordinator serves as the firm’s lead contact for conferences, while also providing flexible support for the rest of the Marketing Department’s activities.

Join the marketing team at Weltman, Weinberg & Reis, one of the nation’s leading creditors’ rights law firms. We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and creative Marketing Coordinator to support and execute strategic marketing initiatives across the firm.

The ideal candidate is an innovative thinker, a strong multitasker, and a detail-oriented professional who enjoys both project execution and creative design work. This role offers a dynamic blend of event coordination, content development, and graphic design support.

Responsibilities

EVENTS & CONFERENCE MANAGEMENT

Support the firm’s participation in events with the planning, execution, and tracking of all conferences and firm events.

  • Coordinate conference planning and approvals with business unit leaders
  • Manage registrations and oversee event logistics
  • Maintain relationships with industry associations
  • Track and manage a comprehensive firm events calendar
  • Develop and execute pre- and post-event strategy

SOCIAL MEDIA & WEBINARS

  • Coordinate internal and external webinar logistics, including pre- and post-event communications

GRAPHIC DESIGN & MARKETING MATERIALS

  • Design and produce marketing collateral, including event invitations, email campaigns, social graphics & short-form videos, presentations, and signage.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to bring creative concepts to life

PROMOTIONAL MARKETING MATERIALS

  • Research and work with vendors to source promotional items, including event signage and exhibit materials
  • Maintain inventory system for all promotional items, event signage, and exhibit materials, and provide regular reporting

GENERAL MARKETING SUPPORT

  • Draft and edit content for pitches, proposals, PowerPoint presentations/speaking engagements, and other client-facing materials,
  • Maintain accurate records for marketing department expenses, preparing check requests, and reconciling credit card statements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, English, or other related fields.
  • 3+ plus years of relevant work/intern experience; law firm or other professional services experience a plus. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage social media sites.
  • Proficient with MS Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint; experience with email marketing software, webinar software, and Canva. Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign & Photoshop) a plus.
  • Must be able to prioritize competing needs, meet tight deadlines, and work well under pressure and with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to detail and critical thinking skills are essential.
  • Must have a professional demeanor, an enthusiastic personality, and be comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected pay range for this position is $49,804-61,701/year

Work Environment:

This position operates in a professional office environment. It is representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee will experience low to moderate noise levels and moderate interruptions. The workspace is well-lit and climate controlled.
