Job Title: Marketing & Digital Content Specialist

Location: UAE (Hybrid working options considered)

Reporting to: Managing Director

Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term


We are seeking a highly motivated and independent Marketing & Digital Content Specialist to take full ownership of our marketing function across the UK and UAE.


In this role, you will be the sole marketing lead for the business — planning, delivering, and optimising all marketing activities. You will work closely with the Managing Director and Revenue team, and you will manage external freelancers (content creators, photographers, videographers) in both the UK and UAE.


You will be responsible for our website, booking engine, social media channels, brand content, marketing automation, and CRM. You will also collaborate with revenue, CRM, and technology partners to optimise our digital channels and drive direct bookings.


This is a hands-on role with full ownership: we are looking for someone with initiative, creativity, and strong project management skills, who can work independently and deliver results without day-to-day supervision.

Website & Booking Engine Management

  • Manage and update website content, property pages, and special offers.
  • Create and launch new property pages for openings or refurbishments.
  • Ensure all website content is accurate, up-to-date, and reflects our brand.
  • Monitor website performance and booking funnel, suggesting improvements.



Digital Marketing & Airbnb Performance

  • Use Autorank to improve Airbnb listing visibility and ranking.
  • Regularly update Airbnb property names to maintain SEO and brand consistency.



Social Media Marketing

  • Plan and manage a social media calendar across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok.
  • Grow and develop our presence to reach new audiences.
  • Ensure all content reflects the brand tone and appeals to both leisure and corporate guests.



Brand & Content Development

  • Create and update brochures, presentations, and sales documents.
  • Lead the annual SAA Awards application process.
  • Upload and manage Matterport virtual tours on the website and partner platforms.



Marketing Automation & CRM

  • Manage and optimise HubSpot CRM to support marketing and sales.
  • Create and manage email campaigns for leisure and corporate clients.
  • Set up automation workflows (pre-stay, post-stay, upsell, lead nurturing).
  • Maintain and segment the CRM database, ensuring GDPR compliance.
  • Analyse campaign results and CRM data to drive improvements.
  • Collaborate with revenue and technology partners to align automation with revenue strategies.



Collaboration & Cross-functional Support

  • Act as the main point of contact for all marketing matters.
  • Liaise with freelancers in the UK and UAE to produce high-quality content.
  • Coordinate with revenue, CRM, and tech partners on updates and optimisation.
  • Support property launches and promotional campaigns across Operations, Reservations, and Sales.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends, bringing new ideas to the business.



Marketing Operations & Administration

  • Keep records of marketing activities and campaign performance.
  • Provide regular updates to the Managing Director.



Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a marketing role (hospitality, travel, lifestyle, or property sector preferred).
  • Proven experience managing website content and booking engines (Avvio or similar an advantage).
  • Strong social media marketing experience (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok).
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM, email campaigns, and marketing automation.
  • Good understanding of SEO principles (basic level).
  • Experience managing freelancers and coordinating creative projects.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and reporting tools.
  • Comfortable working across UK and UAE markets.


Desirable:

  • Experience with Avvio platforms.
  • Knowledge of hospitality revenue management concepts (OCC, ADR, conversion).
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems and GDPR.
  • Experience with paid media (Google Ads, Meta Ads).
  • Experience in a fast-growing international business or start-up.



Qualifications

Desirable but not essential:

  • Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or Hospitality Marketing.
  • Recognised professional qualifications such as:
  • CIM Certificate/Diploma in Marketing
  • Digital Marketing Institute certification
  • Google Digital Marketing certification
  • HubSpot Academy certifications (e.g. Email Marketing, Inbound Marketing, Marketing Software)
