Job Summary

The Marketing Director is responsible for developing and implementing the long-term marketing and communication vision for the NU brand, promoting its unique position in the marketplace. Responsibilities include planning, developing, and executing all NU marketing strategies and communications, both external and internal. The role oversees the creation and implementation of support materials and services in the areas of marketing and communications. Additionally, the Marketing Director directs the efforts of the marketing and communications team and coordinates at both strategic and tactical levels with other College functions.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing and Communications

  • Reflect, articulate, and promote the mission, vision, and identity of NU.
  • Create, implement, and measure the success of a comprehensive marketing and communications program to enhance NU's image and position in the marketplace and among the public, while facilitating internal and external communications.
  • Manage the strategic and creative design of NU's marketing and communications activities and materials, including:
  • Website, social media, and media production.
  • Other Related Departments.
  • Institutional Advancement.
  • Conference Services
  • Media Relations.

Planning and Budgeting

  • Achieve the mission, goals, and financial objectives of the marketing and communications department.
  • Establish and monitor evaluation systems, including benchmarks, to track progress toward these goals and objectives, and report progress to the university top management.
  • Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for marketing and communications activities, monitor progress, ensure adherence, and evaluate performance.
  • Implement and monitor systems and procedures necessary for the smooth operation of the marketing and communications functions.
  • Stay updated about developments in marketing, communications, not-for-profit management, governance, and the university specific business, applying this knowledge to promote innovation and initiative.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or any relevant field is required.
  • +15 years of experience in the same field.
  • Experience in educational institutes is a plus.
  • Proven experience in project management and budget management.
  • Strong Organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
