Marketing Director

Job Summary:

As a Marketing Director, you will lead and oversee the group’s overall marketing strategy, ensuring effective brand positioning, market visibility, and customer engagement across all business divisions. In this role you will be involved in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns, coordinating with business unit heads, and ensuring brand consistency and performance-driven marketing initiatives aligned with the Group’s strategic goals.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Brand Leadership

Develop and implement a group-wide marketing and brand strategy aligned with the company’s overall vision and financial objectives.

  • Define and manage distinct brand identities for each category while ensuring a cohesive Group brand narrative.
  • Lead consumer insight initiatives to shape brand direction, market positioning, and communication strategies.
  • Translate traditional heritage brands (Abaya, Kandura, Arabic Sandal & Hospitality etc.,) into modern lifestyle propositions while maintaining cultural authenticity.

Brand Positioning & Identity

  • Define and refine brand messaging, tone, and visual identity.
  • Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all touchpoints.
  • Lead initiatives to strengthen brand equity and differentiation in the market.
  • Align campaigns with long-term brand vision and values.

Commercial Growth & Market Expansion

  • Partner with Business Unit Heads to align marketing strategy with category P&L objectives and sales targets.
  • Drive market share growth across GCC and select international markets through effective go-to-market and brand expansion plans.
  • Introduce product diversification and collaborations (e.g., designer tie-ups, fragrance extensions, café experiences).
  • Develop pricing, positioning, and portfolio strategies based on consumer demand and competitive benchmarking.

Marketing & Digital Excellence

  • Lead integrated marketing campaigns (digital, retail, social, influencer, PR, events) to enhance awareness and conversion.
  • Strengthen e-commerce performance through data-driven content, conversion optimization, and CRM automation.
  • Oversee digital transformation of the marketing function—establish a Group Digital Hub for social media, data analytics, and performance marketing.
  • Leverage AI, data analytics, and consumer insights to optimize spend efficiency and improve ROI across channels.
  • Establish KPIs for campaigns and track ROI.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership[R1] .

Social Media Management

  • Defining and implementing social media strategies to increase engagement, followers, and conversions.
  • Supervise content calendars, posting schedules, and platform-specific campaigns.
  • Monitor analytics to optimize performance and report on KPIs.
  • Collaborate with influencers and partners to amplify brand reach.

Photoshoot & Creative Management

  • Plan and oversee brand photoshoots, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives.
  • Manage creative teams, photographers, stylists, and production schedules.
  • Ensure visual assets reflect brand identity and resonate with target audiences.
  • Maintain a library of high-quality content for use across marketing channels.

E-commerce Support

  • Work closely with E-commerce Manager to support the daily requirements for product creative
  • Convey new ideas and suggestions as per the current observed trends.
  • Align the photoshoot activities with E-commerce Manager based on the online merchandise requirements.

Customer Experience & Loyalty

  • Design and implement a unified Group Loyalty Program connecting retail, online, and F&B touchpoints.
  • Ensure consistent luxury experience standards across all customer touchpoints (store, online, events).
  • Driving experiential activation fashion shows, product launches, and cultural collaborations enhance emotional connection with GCC consumers.

Team Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing, cross-functional marketing team across categories and markets.
  • Instill a culture of innovation, agility, and accountability across all marketing functions.
  • Collaborate with HR to develop training and succession plans for marketing talent within the group.
  • Manage external agency relationships (creative, PR, media, and digital) ensuring best-in-class output and cost efficiency.

Stakeholder & Partnership Management

  • Work closely with CEOs/General Managers of each business unit to align business goals and brand strategies.
  • Build strategic alliances and partnerships with media, influencers, designers, and event organizers.
  • Representing the Group at key industry events, exhibitions, and award platforms to reinforce brand prestige.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or Communications[R1] .
  • Minimum 8–12 years of marketing experience.
  • Proven experience in retail, fashion, hospitality, or FMCG sectors within the UAE or GCC region.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, analytics, and branding strategies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Creative thinker with analytical capability and commercial awareness.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, HubSpot, etc.).
