Schedule:
· In-office – 16 hrs: Tuesday, 10am-6:30pm & Thursday, 10am-6:30pm
· Event staffing: As needed, average of 8-24 hours, typically evenings and weekends. Expected to work 3 weekends per month during May-Oct. Schedule to be provided one month in advance.
Responsibilities
The person in this role will support and grow the events, weddings, and marketing efforts at the farm by taking on a wide range of regular responsibilities and special projects. There may be other duties you are asked to perform or assist with beyond what is listed here:
Marketing & Office support:
- Marketing Coordination:
- Executes established marketing plan for all in-house events and rental business, including creating ticket sales pages on Ticketleap, Facebook events, social media posts, press releases, sharing to regional event calendars, creating and distributing print materials (brochures, flyers, etc).
- Organize and maintain files for digital marketing materials and assets.
- Manage social media platforms, working to promote and grow accounts while being mindful of brand alignment and tone.
- Create and manage monthly newsletters and other marketing emails.
- Update rental business marketing materials.
- Verify event information and maintain consistent, accurate details across all platforms.
- Manage paid ads through Meta (Facebook/Instagram), including ad creation, A/B testing, targeting, and performance tracking.
Class & Instructor Coordination: serve as a main point of contact for class instructors, coordinate scheduling and logistics for classes. This role will also propose and develop new class ideas that align with the farm’s mission.
Live Music, Concerts, and other events: book live music acts and manage musician communication. With event team, coordinate and set up concerts, ensuring performers and venue needs are met. This position is the lead coordinator for our annual food truck festival which draws more than 1000 guests.
Office team & rental business support:
- Assist with occasional ordering of supplies, invoice entries, and office cleaning.
- Assist with responses to inbound inquiries and tour scheduling. Conduct property tours for prospective clients
- Prepare and print bar menus and other print materials for events.
Event Support:
- Work weddings, classes, dinners, concerts, and other events, serving as one of the key staff members overseeing and managing the event. Shifts may be as long as 12 hours. Responsibilities are varied, but include traffic control, operating check-in tables, supporting bar staff, serving food, cleaning (floors and bathrooms before, during, and after events), monitoring and properly disposing of trash and recycling.
- Assist with venue set up. Ability to read floor plans and responsibly move large items of furniture (as part of a team) is necessary.
- Assist with training and oversight of newer event staff.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) and content creation.
- Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe, or similar programs) for creating marketing materials.
- Comfort with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp).
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team.
- Creative thinker with an eye for detail and branding consistency.
- Prior experience in event coordination, marketing, or hospitality preferred.

Base Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
