Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will learn and participate in the day-to-day operations of the Marketing Department. Assist with marketing initiatives in support of the Credit Union's business goals, including but not limited to communications, public and media relations, event planning and execution, and the creation of marketing materials. Intern will help with many University of North Dakota-related activities, including member and sporting events that may occur on an occasional evening or weekend. The intern will also prepare and present on their internship experience to the executive team at the conclusion of the internship.

  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns and promotional events.

  • Support communication efforts through the creation and distribution of marketing materials, newsletters, social media content, and website updates.

  • Help maintain brand consistency across internal and external communications.

  • Participate in public relations activities, including media outreach and community engagement efforts.

  • Assist in tracking and reporting marketing performance metrics to evaluate campaign success.

  • Complete project-based work as assigned.

  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation of marketing projects and promotional activities.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must be a sophomore, junior or senior in pursuant of an undergraduate degree in business, human resources, marketing or related field from an accredited a college or university.
  • Previous marketing services experience preferred
  • Canva or graphic design knowledge preferred but not required
