Position overview
The Marketing Executive shall contribute to, and develop integrated marketing campaigns and marketing related tasks. The marketing executive’s role includes planning, organizing campaigns, events, sponsorship/tie-ups, advertising, public relations and research.
Responsibilities
· Plan and prepare advertising and promotional material to increase sales of products or services, working with customers, company officials, sales departments and advertising agencies.
· Gather and organize information to plan advertising campaigns.
· Work with a creative agency produce materials of visual impact and within brand guidelines
· Direct, motivate, and monitor the mobilization of a campaign team to advance campaign goals.
· Confer with department heads or staff to discuss topics such as contracts, selection of advertising media, or product to be advertised.
· Plan and execute advertising policies and strategies for organizations.
· Assist with annual budget development.
· Process all correspondence and paperwork related to vendor accounts.
· Review samples and proof reading and illustration for advertisement artwork, and provide samples.
· Visit shops to view marketing activities and to maintain consistent image across them.
· Involve key stakeholders for product at each stage of campaign, and report results once completed
· Liaise with media, printers and publishers as required and managing the production of marketing materials such as leaflets, flyers, posters and newsletters, including e-newsletters, etc…
· Liaise with events coordinators, organize and attend conferences, receptions, events and exhibitions, including compiling product and literature lists to display or demonstrate
· Monitor competitor activity and generate leads for products and services;
· Maintain and update POS and in store visuals
· Source and secure sponsorship and tie ups with corporate companies and clubs
· Evaluate marketing campaigns
· Monitor competitor activity
· Liaise, prepare and develop content for social media platforms
· Build up Optica Corporate branding and awareness
· Assist with Corporate Social Responsibility and PR
Competencies
· Minimum of Bachelor's degree
· Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar position
· Knowledge about digital marketing, social media as well as traditional marketing
· Computer literate (MS Office)
· Creative Application (Photoshop/Adobe Illustrator) would be a plus
· Fluent in English mandatory
