Marketing Graphic Design & Content Creator

Position Overview:

The Marketing Graphic Design & Content Creator position at NL Manufacturing & Distribution Systems, Inc. will be responsible for overseeing the graphic design of marketing materials, collaborating with our partners on lighting designs, & producing exceptional social media brand content. This role requires a meticulous individual with strong attention to detail, excellent phone etiquette, graphic design & content creation experience, and the ability to manage various tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design Visual Content
Create visually engaging content for digital and print marketing campaigns, including promotional materials, media graphics, infographics, brochures, and advertisements. Ensure all visual elements align with brand standards and contribute to overall marketing objectives. This includes maintaining a cohesive aesthetic across all platforms and channels.

· Create Promotional Materials
Design and produce marketing assets such as banners, flyers, email campaign visuals, and landing page graphics. Collaborate with the marketing team to craft compelling visuals that drive engagement and conversions, ensuring that each piece is tailored to its target audience.

· Collaborate on Visual Branding
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales, to support the development and execution of visual branding strategies. Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions and ensure that all design work enhances the company's visual identity and brand message.

· Manage Design Projects
Oversee and manage various design projects simultaneously, ensuring that each one meets the highest standards of quality and is delivered on time. This includes prioritizing tasks, coordinating with team members, and adhering to project timelines while maintaining attention to detail.

· Domain and Hosting Management
Take charge of managing the company's domains and hosting services, including setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting issues. Ensure that all websites are optimized for performance, secure from potential threats, and backed up regularly. This includes coordinating with hosting providers and managing DNS settings.

· WordPress Management (Highly Preferred)
Develop, manage, and update WordPress websites, ensuring they are user-friendly, responsive, and aligned with the latest web standards. Customize themes and plugins to meet specific needs, and regularly update content to keep the website fresh and relevant. Ensure that the website's performance, security, and SEO are consistently optimized.

· Content Social Media Posts
Write, edit, and publish social media posts that are well-researched, engaging, and optimized for search engines. Develop content strategies that align with the company's marketing goals and use analytics to track performance and refine future content. Work with other team members to integrate visual elements, such as images and videos, into social media posts.

· Directory Management
Maintain and update the company's presence on various online business directories, such as Google My Business, Yelp, and industry-specific platforms. Ensure that all information, including contact details, business hours, and service descriptions, is accurate and up to date. Monitor reviews and ratings, responding appropriately to feedback to maintain a positive online reputation.

· Product Photography
Plan, execute, and edit product photography sessions to produce high-quality images for use in marketing materials, websites, and e-commerce platforms. Ensure that all product images are consistent with brand guidelines and highlight the key features and benefits of each product. Manage photo editing, including retouching, color correction, and formatting, to ensure a polished final product.

Additional Tasks as Requested

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably within a marketing or advertising context.

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, Figma (or equivalent) is required.

- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual communication.

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Microsoft Teams is considered an asset.

- Have a take charge attitude with little micromanagement

Working Hours:

  • In office Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
