Job Overview:

The Graphic Designer is responsible for transforming ideas and concepts into compelling visual formats for print and digital media. This position is proficient in the latest design software and adept in all stages of the design process, from initial concept to final output. This position works closely with various teams throughout the company and is capable of translating verbal or written ideas and conceptual opinions into impactful designs. The Graphic Designer reports to the VP of Marketing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates, brainstorms, and strategizes with multiple teams or clients on a wide range of materials that may include presentations, program collateral, signage, internal communications, newsletters, and other marketing materials
  • Translates strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity
  • Develops concepts with software and executes original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout
  • Manages the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on best practices
  • Uses trend intelligence and knowledge of historical and current markets when designing and executing specific classifications
  • Performs other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned by management to support organizational goals and objectives

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Graphic Design, Art, or related discipline
  • 1-2 years of experience in a professional setting with design software, including Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to continue building skill set with education and training
  • Knowledge of Illustrator and Excel is a plus
