POSITION SUMMARY:
HPI Architecture is seeking a talented Marketing Graphic Designer to support all marketing efforts for the firm’s Education and Housing Studios.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Overall Marketing Coordination and Assistance:

Support the Marketing / Communications Manager and HPI Leadership team throughout all phases of the marketing and business development process including:
-
Creating engaging, brand-aligned content including graphics, copy, and electronic media supporting all marketing and business development efforts

Coordinating the production of collateral and marketing materials for RFP / RFQ submissions, industry events, conferences, trade shows, and career fairs under the direction of the Marketing and Communications Manager

Assisting with additional marketing and business development tasks as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES

Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative ideas and visual solutions.

Strong graphic design skills with the ability to translate strategic direction into effective design concepts. (Portfolio required with application.)

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.

Experience creating social media content (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube) with an understanding of professional and corporate tone.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Able to manage multiple projects, meet frequent deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.

Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a decentralized team environment.

Demonstrated ability to handle proprietary and confidential information with discretion.
REQUIREMENTS
-
Software proficiencies: Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam Studio, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required

1-3 years of related marketing experience in the A/E/C industry (architecture, engineering, or construction firm) preferred

Experience with the A/E/C RFP/RFQ proposal process preferred

Relevant four-year degree in Marketing, Communications, and/or Graphic Design preferred

Occasional travel to both offices (Newport Beach and San Diego) for various industry events
PHYSICAL STANDARDS: Positions in this class are situated in a standard office environment, resulting in little exposure to the weather and requiring no unusual physical abilities. Other requirements include:

Near and visual acuity to interpret written documentation, reading very small print, maintains accurate records, recognizes people and provide direction.

Use of hands for simple and firm grasping, as well as, fine manipulating ability to reach and handle equipment, records, and reports.

Higher-level cognitive skills to move quickly from one task to another and to attend to detail. Able to concentrate and set priorities despite distractions.

Speaking and hearing skills to converse verbally by telephone, in writing, and in person in an appropriate fashion, to ensure customers and employees are properly addressed in a precise manner.

Required to travel up to 100% of the time.
