Seven Ventures is a social enterprise nonprofit focused on one core goal: expanding access. We provide approachable and affordable business support, education, and consulting to people who have historically been shut out of economic opportunity. Our work centers underserved and marginalized communities including BIPOC individuals, women, people with disabilities, immigrants, refugees, and veterans.

We believe everyone deserves the tools and knowledge to build a stable future. Our team works with community members, local organizations, and small businesses to make those resources easy to reach and easy to use.

We are looking for a Marketing Intern who wants practical experience while contributing to mission-driven work. You will help build campaigns that increase visibility, expand access, and lift the voices of the communities we serve.

What You Will Do

• Support digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and search.

• Conduct keyword research and contribute to SEO improvements that help more people find our services.

• Create clear, accessible content for blogs, social posts, newsletters, and website pages.

• Schedule social content, monitor engagement, and review performance metrics.

• Use Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator for design tasks.

• Update website content in WordPress or similar platforms.

• Assist with paid advertising through Facebook Advertising, Google Ads, and SEM strategies.

• Analyze data in Google Analytics and similar tools to identify ways to improve reach and access.

• Support email marketing, audience segmentation, and automation tasks.

• Contribute to projects involving e-commerce, performance marketing, and B2B efforts.

• Help run A/B tests for landing pages and ad creatives.

• Track KPIs and assist with preparing reports for the team.

What You Bring

• Enrollment in a Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related program.

• A solid understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.

• Interest in social media management including scheduling, engagement tracking, and community interaction.

• Comfort reviewing analytics from platforms like Meta Business Suite, Instagram Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, and Google Analytics.

• Ability to translate data into clear insights, simple reports, and recommendations for improvement.

• Basic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.

• Working knowledge of WordPress or similar systems.

• Strong writing skills, especially for short-form content that is clear and accessible.

• Good organization and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• A collaborative spirit and a genuine interest in accessible, equity-focused marketing.
