Marketing & Sales Intern (Early-Stage Startup)

Location: Minnetonka, MN (In-person required)

Type: Paid Internship + Performance Bonuses

Compensation: Base Pay + $20 Bonus for every Demo completed

The Opportunity: "Garage Startup" Vibe

We are an early-stage startup with big goals. We are looking for an intern who wants to be on the ground floor of building a company.

Full Transparency: We are currently operating out of our home in Minnetonka. We have desks set up in the living room—there is no water cooler, and there is no corporate reception desk.

What we do have is direct access to the founders, an intense learning environment, and a "get things done" entrepreneurial culture. If you are the type of person who wants to learn how a business is built from scratch, this is for you.

The Role

You will serve as our primary "Speed-to-Lead" responder. We utilize advanced automation that identifies when a prospect engages with our content. When they click, you connect.

We need you on-site for the first 3 weeks for intensive training and onboarding.

How You Get Paid

We believe in rewarding results.

  • The Base: $100 a week stipend.
  • The Bonus: You earn $20 for every prospect who shows up to a demo.
  • The Workflow:
  • Our system detects a warm lead (email open/click) and automatically alerts/calls you.
  • You pick up immediately and connect with the prospect.
  • You book the demo.
  • You follow up to ensure they attend. They show, you get paid.

Responsibilities

  • Rapid Response: Monitor system alerts during working hours and respond to warm leads instantly.
  • Appointment Setting: Engage efficiently with prospects to schedule product demonstrations.
  • Pipeline Management: Confirm meetings and send reminders to ensure a high "Show Rate."
  • Digital Marketing Support: When not handling leads, assist with executing strategies across social media, email, and SEO.
  • Content & Tech: Help optimize landing pages using SEO tools, Google Analytics, and create content using Adobe Creative Suite (if applicable).

Qualifications

  • Comfortable with an Entrepreneurial Setup: You are okay working from a home-office environment (Minnetonka) and thrive in a casual, high-energy atmosphere.
  • Availability: Must be able to commute to Minnetonka for the first 3 weeks of training (schedule TBD).
  • Phone Confidence: You are articulate, friendly, and not afraid to talk to prospects.
  • Tech-Savvy: Quick to learn new software (CRM, Marketing Automation).
  • Bonus Skills: Experience with Adobe Photoshop, HTML/CSS, or Google Ads is a major plus.
