Marketing Intern

Stern & Cohen, P.C., a growing Philadelphia-based workers’ compensation law firm, is seeking a motivated Marketing Intern for Summer 2026. This position offers hands-on experience across multiple areas of marketing, providing exposure to real campaigns, creative strategy, client engagement, and day-to-day marketing operations within the legal industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for a current junior or senior pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field who is interested in developing practical marketing skills in a fast-paced professional environment.

Position Details

  • Pay: $18/hour
  • Schedule: Part-Time, 18 hours per week
  • Hours: Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch break)
  • Location: In-person at our Center City Philadelphia office
  • Start Date: Mid-May 2026 (following spring semester completion)
  • End Date: End of Summer 2026

Ideal candidates will have availability to continue supporting the marketing department remotely or in person through at least September 2026.

What You’ll Do

The Marketing Intern will assist with a wide range of initiatives, including:

  • Supporting SEO initiatives and website content updates
  • Assisting with social media planning, posting, and engagement
  • Helping execute email marketing campaigns
  • Participating in content ideation and creative brainstorming
  • Assisting with video editing and short-form content creation
  • Conducting client outreach, including contacting clients for Google reviews and coordinating the distribution of firm swag
  • Supporting community outreach events, including back-to-school initiatives with the School District of Philadelphia
  • Providing general marketing and administrative support as needed
  • Learning how marketing strategy operates within the legal services industry

Qualifications

  • Current junior or senior undergraduate student
  • Major in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field preferred
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable speaking with clients professionally over phone and email
  • Creative mindset with interest in content creation
  • Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Basic experience with Canva, video editing tools, or social media management is a plus (but not required)
