Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, member engagement, membership growth, program attendance, and revenue generation across all organizational offerings. This role is accountable for achieving specific growth and revenue targets through strategic marketing initiatives and will be measured on ROI of marketing investments. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to enhance IAAP's market presence and support our mission of advancing administrative professionals worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing Planning and Implementation

Develop and execute marketing plans aligned with overall business objectives and that are community specific
-
Drive measurable results in membership acquisition, retention, and revenue generation
-
Collaborate with leadership to establish marketing priorities and initiatives
-
Manage a dynamic team of professionals supporting marketing and content efforts
-
Magazine Editorial Management (beginning late 2026)
-
Create and manage editorial calendar
-
Oversee content creation, sourcing, and management of contributing authors
-
Supervise digital design elements and layout for publication
-
Conduct thorough proofing and quality control processes
-
Develop and manage house advertisements and promotional content
-
Content Creation and Brand Management
-
Oversee creation of engaging marketing materials including blog posts, social media content, and website copy
-
Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and communications
-
Build and maintain brand awareness through various marketing efforts
-
Develop compelling content that resonates with target audiences
-
Campaign Management and Digital Marketing
-
Plan and monitor marketing campaigns across multiple channels
-
Oversee social media platforms, email marketing, and website content
-
Develop and oversee advertising campaigns including paid search and display ads
-
Implement SEO optimization strategies to improve website visibility
-
Market Research and Data Analysis
-
Conduct comprehensive market research to understand target audiences and trends
-
Analyze competitor activities and market positioning
-
Track and analyze marketing data to measure campaign performance
-
Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve products and marketing efforts
-
Provide regular reports on marketing performance and key metrics
Qualifications:
-
2+ years of managerial/supervisory experience leading a dynamic team of passionate professionals
-
7+ years of strategic-level marketing experience
-
Proven experience in digital marketing, content creation, and campaign marketing
-
Editorial or publication management experience required
-
Comfortability employing innovative and strategic thinking while balancing tactics and tasks
-
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft programs, social media management platforms, Google Analytics, and SEO tools.
-
Association or membership organization experience highly desirable.
-
Professional certification, such as PCM, highly desirable.
-
Ability for up to 10% domestic travel.
