Marketing Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to lead and enhance our marketing efforts, elevating our brand presence. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of marketing experience in the NGO sector and a strong understanding of 360-degree marketing strategies.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing integrated marketing plans that drive engagement, increase visibility, and support our mission.

Key Responsibilities1. Strategy Development

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the NGO’s mission, vision, and goals.
  • Create and manage annual marketing plans, including budgeting and timelines.

2. Brand Management

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the NGO’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all channels.
  • Craft compelling narratives and messaging that resonate with stakeholders, donors, and the community.

3. Digital Marketing

  • Design and implement digital marketing campaigns (social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, online ads).
  • Analyze digital metrics and adjust strategies to optimize performance and engagement.

4. Content Creation

  • Produce high-quality content for websites, social media, blogs, newsletters, and press releases.
  • Coordinate with designers, writers, and other creatives to ensure cohesive and impactful content.

5. Event Marketing

  • Plan and execute marketing strategies for events, fundraisers, and campaigns.
  • Manage logistics, promotions, and post-event evaluations to measure success.

6. Partnerships & Outreach

  • Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, community organizations, and stakeholders.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities for partnerships and collaborations to enhance visibility and impact.

7. Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track and analyze marketing performance metrics (campaign effectiveness, engagement, ROI).
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

8. Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals and volunteers.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field. (Advanced degree/certifications are a plus.)
  • Experience: 4–8 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in the NGO sector or a similar field.
  • Skills:
  • Proven expertise in 360-degree marketing strategies (digital, print, event-based).
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, digital advertising, and CMS.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Mulund, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Marketing management: 1 year (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Preferred)
