The Marketing Manager will lead the organization’s overall marketing vision, positioning, and growth strategy. This role is responsible for developing and executing data-driven marketing plans that strengthen brand identity, increase visibility, enhance stakeholder engagement, and support fundraising and program expansion goals. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with execution excellence and strong leadership capability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Brand Positioning
- Develop and implement a comprehensive annual marketing strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Define and strengthen the organization’s brand identity, messaging framework, and value proposition.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Establish measurable marketing KPIs and track performance.
2. Campaign Development & Execution
- Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns (digital, print, events, partnerships).
- Oversee content strategy across social media, website, email marketing, and promotional materials.
- Ensure brand consistency across all communication platforms.
- Plan and execute awareness and fundraising campaigns in collaboration with relevant departments.
3. Digital & Performance Marketing
- Manage website optimization, SEO, and online visibility strategies.
- Analyze digital performance metrics and optimize campaigns for reach, engagement, and conversion.
- Supervise paid marketing campaigns (if applicable) and monitor ROI.
4. Stakeholder & Donor Engagement Support
- Collaborate with fundraising and donor relations teams to design marketing collateral.
- Develop impact stories, case studies, and reports for stakeholders.
- Strengthen external partnerships through strategic communication initiatives.
5. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor the marketing team (social media, content creators, designers).
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure timely execution of deliverables.
- Build systems for documentation, workflow, and content calendar management.
6. Budgeting & Reporting
- Develop and manage the marketing budget.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports for senior leadership.
- Ensure cost-effective utilization of marketing resources.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- 4–7 years of progressive experience in marketing strategy and campaign management.
- Strong understanding of branding, digital marketing, analytics, and content strategy.
- Experience in nonprofit/education sector (preferred, if relevant).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
