DEKit is a leading manufacturer of high-quality, custom marine flooring solutions designed to improve safety, comfort, and aesthetics across all types of marine vessels and sport vehicles. We combine precision manufacturing, customizable designs, and industry-leading materials (including durable PE/EVA foam, cork-based Evercor, and polyurethane products with E-Dek Pro & Deck-X) to deliver premium flooring for manufacturers, consumers, and dealers nationwide.

As our presence grows, we are strengthening our internal marketing leadership. We’re looking for a Marketing Manager who understands the marine industry, thrives working with dealer networks, and is driven to grow into a larger leadership role as we scale.

Role Overview

The Marketing Manager will lead DEKit’s day-to-day marketing operations and execute strategies that support OEM and dealer sales, dealer performance, retail product growth, and consumer demand. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, requiring someone who enjoys owning initiatives from strategy through implementation. The Senior Marketing Manager will need to create and execute the plan for a cohesive marketing strategy across a growing product portfolio (foam, Evercor, E-Deck Pro, DeckX)

This person will also help lay the foundation for a future internal marketing team as business needs evolve.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and manage integrated marketing plans that support company goals, product sales, and dealer performance.
  • Oversee and execute digital marketing campaigns, including paid social, email marketing, SEO initiatives, and content planning.
  • Manage marketing calendars, product launches, seasonal promotions, and campaign workflows.
  • Coordinate production of marketing assets (photo/video, print, digital collateral) with internal and external resources, with an emphasis on cost-effective creative asset creation.

OEM Marketing & Partnership Development

  • Develop Co-Branding Initiatives: Create and execute co-marketing programs, case studies, and joint promotional campaigns with key Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners to drive mutual visibility and sales.
  • OEM Sales Support: Produce specialized marketing and technical collateral (e.g., product specifications, install guides, material samples) required by OEM sales and engineering teams during the integration and specification process.
  • Trade Show Strategy (B2B Focus): Plan and manage DEKit's presence at B2B industry trade shows (e.g., IBEX, major boat builder events) to directly engage with and support current and prospective OEM partners.
  • Relationship Marketing: Work closely with the CEO and Sales leadership to ensure that marketing strategies actively support and nurture high-value OEM relationships and contracts.

Dealer Support & Channel Marketing

  • Work closely with existing dealers to provide marketing resources, sales tools, promotional materials, and brand-aligned content.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and high-quality representation across channels.
  • Support dealer events, trade shows and local activations by managing and/or producing applicable marketing materials.
  • Serve as a point of contact for dealers seeking marketing guidance or assets.

Consumer & Retail Marketing

  • Support growth of direct-to-consumer and retail product lines through digital campaigns, ecommerce optimization, and content development.
  • Plan and manage social media efforts, including community engagement and content schedules.
  • Promote customer testimonials, installations, and dealer success stories to drive awareness and trust.

Content & Communications

  • Oversee creation of product descriptions, catalog content, case studies, how-to resources, and educational materials.
  • Manage storytelling and communication efforts that highlight product benefits, quality, and use cases, without needing to redefine the overall brand identity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain clear and accurate product information.

Marketing Operations & Performance

  • Track and report on marketing KPIs, including lead flow, campaign performance, dealer utilization of assets, ecommerce performance, and customer engagement.
  • Manage marketing budgets and optimize ROI across channels.
  • Implement processes and systems that improve efficiency and support scalability.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Mentor junior marketing staff or contractors as needed, when applicable.
  • Help define the structure of a future marketing team as operational needs expand.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service to support company-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of marketing experience, ideally in marine, outdoor, powersports, or a related industry.
  • Direct experience supporting dealers, distributors, or channel partners.
  • Strong hands-on marketing execution skills: digital campaigns, content creation oversight, event support, asset management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with marketing tools (CRM, email platforms, analytics, social tools).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with internal teams, dealers, partners, and customers.
  • Self-driven and excited about stepping into a role with future leadership and team-building opportunities.
  • Passion for boating or familiarity with marine culture is a plus.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
