Job Overview
The person in this position will be responsible for managing communication with external partners, administrative support, and clinical staff assisting in the planning and delivery of companywide marketing initiatives. The marketing manager has responsibility to drive the mission of the Wellness Institute of MI which is to provide exceptional mental health care in a caring and compassionate environment.
Duties
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement the company marketing strategy.
- Experience with leadership protocols and participate in leadership meetings.
- Manage incoming referral sources data consistently.
- Build and maintain all organizational contacts and databases.
- Build and nurture relationships with physician offices and other community partners to enhance referral networks. Create and oversee marketing initiatives to maintain relationships.
- Conduct cold calls as needed and collaborate with external marketing partners to create content and annual implementation plan.
- Attend mental health community events and organize WIM community event participation.
- Work closely with the leadership team regarding the organization’s community giving and volunteerism commitment to meet the core values of the company.
- Monitor and respond to inquiries related to marketing and referrals, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Manage all social media accounts, posts and vendors as part of the overall marketing strategy.
- Create and maintain marketing efforts SEO, SEM, GOOGLE Ads.
- Proficiency in website management.
- Manage the marketing budget and communication with all marketing vendors.

- Flexibility in handling job duty changes. Ability to multitask and manage busy days.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage all printed marketing materials supplies and be prepared appropriately for changing marketing needs.
- Capable of working with Canva, printing companies and other creative platforms.
- Some evening and weekend work to attend events and community functions.
Physical Demands
- Ability to travel and meet community partners as part of outreach and relationship-building efforts.
- Capability to perform desk work for extended periods, including computer usage, phone communication, and document preparation.
- Occasional lifting of materials (e.g., event supplies, marketing materials) up to 20 pounds.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: College degree in marketing or advertising.
Experience: Prefer experience in a medical or mental health office or environment or equivalent related experience.
