Marketing Manager

Job Overview
The Marketing Manager will serve as the tip of the spear for all consumer-facing touchpoints, ensuring brand consistency, storytelling, and seamless execution across digital, event and retail, helping to reach our customers across all channels. Duties

  • Develop and lead integrated marketing plans for campaigns, coordinating activities across multiple consumer touchpoints, including media, digital, social, on-location, and event marketing.
  • Drive the planning process, development, and roll-out of the Lionel Trains Consumer catalogs.
  • Assist with product photography coordination, and ecommerce updates.
  • Coordinate cross-functional needs with product, sales, licensing, and customer service teams.
  • Develop and manage marketing calendars, timelines, and asset requests.
  • Support event execution including trade shows, fan events, and retail activations.
  • Monitor consumer engagement and provide analytics-based insights to strengthen performance.
  • Maintain brand standards across all touchpoints, ensuring consistent voice, visuals, and messaging.
  • Participate in planning and staffing for consumer and trade shows as well as corporate events.
  • Ownership of Lionel Trains social media / YouTube channel and KPI tracking for on-going growth.
  • Assist in website maintenance including but not limited to uploading photos, updating sales promotions, publishing webpages submitting licensing approvals, and assisting our online team around Lionelstore.com campaigns and programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, content, brand, or related roles (internships included)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Requires a detail-oriented individual that can juggle many workstreams, deadlines and “customers” (internal and
  • External) in a fast-paced environment where you are the idea generator, hands-on creator and implementor of all things Lionel.
  • Experience with social media platforms (FB, Tik Tok, Instagram, YouTube, etc..), basic analytics tools, and content creation
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools a plus
  • Passion for consumer brands, pop culture, toys/collectibles, or enthusiast communities is highly valued

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
