Pay: $20-24 per hour depending on experience

Position Summary:
The Marketing Manager plays a critical role in promoting Habitat for Humanity of Laramie County’s mission and increasing community awareness of its programs, brand, and projects. This position is responsible for building campaigns and promoting Habitat’s initiatives in the community, supporting Habitat’s annual Home Build projects and strategic goals. The primary focus of this role is managing all the affiliate’s marketing and branding materials across all its marketing platforms to create efficient and consistent engagement and alignment with Habitat’s brand voice, and effective communication of its mission to the community.
The ideal candidate will have a background in marketing, communications and bring creativity, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to their work. This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, craft compelling content, and foster relationships with community partners. A passion for Habitat’s mission and the ability to represent the organization with professionalism and enthusiasm is essential.
Responsibilities:
Engagement:
● Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, local businesses, and nonprofit organizations to enhance Habitat’s visibility and impact.
● Develop and maintain email and other campaigns to ensure consistent branding and messaging and work with the Development Director to implement
● Develop and execute social media strategies to increase online engagement, including creating interactive content, managing campaigns, and engaging with followers.
● Partner with ReStore management to promote events, sales, and campaigns that drive
community participation and maintain branding and messaging guidelines.
Brand Voice:
● Ensure all marketing materials and communications adhere to Habitat for Humanity International Brand Guidance, maintaining a consistent and compelling voice across all platforms.
● Design and produce high-quality promotional materials, including flyers, posters, videos, and graphics for digital and print use.
● Create, schedule, and analyze social media content tailored to target audiences, ensuring maximum engagement and alignment with Habitat’s mission.
● Monitor social media metrics and adjust strategies to improve reach, engagement, and impact.
Events:
● Ensure event marketing materials are consistent with branding standards and effectively communicates Habitat’s mission
● Work with other team members to plan, promote, and execute fundraising events, community engagement initiatives, and other special projects that advance Habitat’s strategic goals.
● Collaborate with the Development Director, ReStore Director, and the Volunteer and Community Engagement Coordinator to develop an annual fundraising and events calendar, setting measurable goals and evaluating success.
Key Skills:
● Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content for social media, marketing materials, and community outreach.
● Proficiency in creating and analyzing content across social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram), with experience using tools like Meta Business Suite.
● Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva and Adobe), email marketing platforms, video editing, and website management.
● Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
● A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to adapt to evolving needs and priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
● 1–3 years of experience in marketing and communications
● Experience working with nonprofit organizations or a passion for Habitat’s mission to build homes, communities, and hope.
● Familiarity with marketing, campaigns, fundraising principles and community engagement strategies.
