The Marketing Manager – New Verticals role at DCX is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future growth of our fast-scaling company. This role is designed for a hands-on, commercially minded marketer who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building from the ground up, and is energized by launching into new markets.
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will play a critical role in helping DCX successfully enter and scale within new industry verticals. You’ll partner directly with our newly hired Sales team members as they launch into these verticals, acting as their marketing ‘buddy’ to build messaging, positioning, and go-to-market assets from day one. And, as part of the wider Marketing team, you’ll also contribute to broader brand and campaign initiatives as DCX continues to evolve at pace.
Your main responsibilities will be:
New Vertical Launch & Sales Enablement
- Partnering closely with our new Sales hires as we launch into new verticals, acting as a marketing “buddy” to support early momentum and success.
- Working closely with the VP of Marketing to develop clear, compelling messaging and positioning tailored to each new vertical, including customer personas, value propositions, pain points, and use cases.
- Creating and maintaining core sales and marketing collateral such as pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, email templates, and sales enablement assets. Working closely with the Design team within our Marketing team to create these deliverables on time and to the highest quality.
- Collaborating with Sales and Customer Experience to gather insights from the field and refine messaging based on real-world feedback.
- Working with the rest of the Marketing team to ensure full alignment and co-ordination with our ‘Business As Usual’ activities and assets.
Content & Campaigns
- Working with the wider Marketing team to create wider content and marketing materials to support new verticals, including website content, landing pages, emails, and social assets.
- Collaborating with our Sales hires to plan and execute targeted campaigns that support awareness and pipeline generation in new markets.
- Ensuring messaging is consistent with the DCX brand while being adapted appropriately for different industries and audiences.
- Using HubSpot to build out campaigns, emails, landing pages, and reporting.
Events
- Supporting a select number of industry events and tradeshows relevant to new verticals, with a focus on impact over volume.
- Project managing pre-, during-, and post-event activities where required, including collateral, lead capture, and follow-up.
- Collaborating with Sales to ensure these new vertical events are well aligned to commercial goals.
- Working closely with the Marketing Events Manager to plan and align on any online events required to support the new verticals.
Skills, experience, and mindset you’ll bring to the role:
- Approximately 7-10 years’ experience in Marketing, ideally within B2B, SaaS, or high-growth environments.
- Proven experience developing messaging, positioning, and marketing/sales collateral, ideally for multiple audiences or industries.
- Strong written and copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt tone and language across channels and verticals.
- Experience working closely with Sales teams and supporting go-to-market initiatives.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a startup, experimentation mindset.
- Experience using HubSpot for emails, campaigns, landing pages, and CMS.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills; experience using tools such as Asana.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- High attention to detail with a creative and solutions-oriented approach.
- Familiarity with EOS methodology is a bonus.
- A genuine passion for high-growth companies and scaling into new markets.
