Job Description:

The Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the success of our retail business by developing and executing effective marketing strategies that promote brand awareness, enhance customer engagement, and drive sales. This role requires a deep understanding of the retail industry, consumer behavior, and creative thinking to elevate our brand's presence in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retail Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's retail objectives. Create plans that integrate online and offline marketing efforts to drive foot traffic, sales, and customer loyalty.

  • Vendor Management: Identify, establish, and manage preferred vendors to support marketing systems, assets, and operational needs.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage multiple marketing projects from initiation through execution, ensuring consistent follow-up, attention to detail, and on-time delivery. Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to maintain alignment, accountability, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Promotional Campaigns: Design and execute engaging promotional campaigns and events to attract customers to our retail locations. Collaborate with sales teams to align promotions with sales targets.
  • Visual Merchandising: Work closely with visual merchandisers to ensure that retail spaces are visually appealing and consistent with the brand's identity, leading to an enhanced customer shopping experience.

  • Customer Insights: Analyze customer behavior and preferences through market research, surveys, and data analysis. Utilize insights to tailor marketing strategies and product offerings.

  • In-Store Experience: Enhance the in-store experience by creating captivating displays, interactive elements, and other customer-engaging activities that promote longer dwell times and repeat visits.

  • Digital Integration: Develop strategies that bridge the gap between online and offline experiences, utilizing digital tools like social media, mobile apps, and location-based marketing to drive traffic to physical stores.

  • Loyalty Programs: Develop and manage customer loyalty programs that encourage repeat business and foster customer retention.

  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Identify and establish partnerships with complementary brands, local businesses, and influencers to expand the brand's reach and relevance within the retail landscape.

  • Sales Performance Analysis: Monitor the performance of retail marketing initiatives, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as foot traffic, conversion rates, and average transaction value. Make data-driven adjustments to optimize strategies.

  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the retail marketing budget, allocating resources effectively across various campaigns and initiatives while ensuring a strong return on investment.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of retail marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.


Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field required; however, 5+ years of proven business experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in brand management within the retail sector, with a demonstrated track record of successful brand development and execution.

· Strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive dynamics, preferably within the vaping or related retail industry.

· Excellent strategic thinking and creative problem-solving abilities, with a strong eye for branding and visual presentation.

· Proficiency with marketing platforms, analytics tools, and campaign management systems.

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners.

· Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

· Experience managing budgets and optimizing resource allocation.

· Proven leadership ability with experience managing and developing teams.
