The Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of Daiso USA’s digital brand strategy and digital/social media campaigns. This individual will be responsible for elevating Daiso’s online presence, growing digital engagement, and enhancing customer interaction across platforms. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, data-driven, and passionate about building brand equity through creative storytelling and performance marketing.
This role will work closely with both U.S. and international teams, report directly to the Head of Marketing, and play a critical part in shaping Daiso’s digital growth trajectory.
Develop and implement digital marketing strategies that align with brand goals
Manage and optimize digital ad placements across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Google, Twitter)
Lead the creation, publishing, and performance tracking of digital and social media content
Design and execute email marketing campaigns that drive customer retention and engagement
Analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics and other reporting tools
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities
Monitor campaign ROI and make data-driven recommendations to scale success
Coordinate content production projects, ensuring alignment with brand messaging
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure campaign success
Stay current with digital trends, tools, and best practices
Develop and run A/B tests and conversion experiments
Oversee digital marketing budgets and project timelines
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in retail or consumer products
Strong working knowledge of Facebook Ads, Google AdWords, Twitter Ads, and other advertising platforms
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Understanding of SEO, analytics tools, and digital KPIs
Familiarity with video and image specifications, aspect ratios, and frame rates
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to test, learn, and iterate
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Comfortable in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
Occasional travel to the corporate office in Orange County, CA required
