About the Role

At Juniper, we design and manufacture high-end architectural lighting that blends design, technology, and lifestyle. As our brand grows, we’re looking for a Marketing Manager for our New York location who will own and elevate our content marketing strategy across every touchpoint. You’ll also lead and mentor a small, talented team of creatives, guiding their work while fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and Strengthen the Brand: Take ownership of Juniper’s voice in the world of design. Develop and refine our brand principles, ensuring that every piece of communication reflects our vision, craftsmanship, and design ethos. Create compelling narratives that connect emotionally with architects, designers, and homeowners—stories that celebrate not just what we make, but the lifestyle and environments we help create. Partner with press, influencers, and industry leaders to position Juniper as an aspirational and influential brand in the design community.
  • Lead and Inspire the Team: Manage a small group of talented marketing professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support while cultivating creativity and accountability.
  • Lead Content Strategy: Own all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, qualified leads, sales, and customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with sales and other departments to align content strategies with business objectives.
  • Plan and Execute Events: Work closely with the Sales Team to conceptualize, plan, and execute showroom events and tradeshows that bring the Juniper brand to life. Ensure each event reflects our design ethos, strengthens client relationships, and builds industry visibility.
  • Editorial Excellence: Develop and manage editorial calendars, ensuring content is optimized for SEO, brand voice, and style.
  • Content Creation & Editing: Write, edit, and refine marketing materials that captivate our audience and elevate our brand.
  • Digital Channel Management: Oversee content hubs, newsletters, email campaigns, and social channels, driving engagement and consistency.
  • Social Media Leadership: Establish standards, policies, and best practices for social media presence and engagement.
  • Performance & Analytics: Define KPIs, track performance, and apply data-driven insights to optimize campaigns.
  • Mentorship & Training: Guide and support the marketing team in best practices for digital content and social media.
  • Trend Spotting: Stay on top of design industry trends, emerging technologies, and new marketing approaches—and bring fresh ideas to the table.
  • Customer Connection: Gather insights and feedback to strengthen engagement and brand affinity.
  • Industry Presence: Represent Juniper at design events alongside our Sales Team, building our visibility and reputation.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing, content strategy, social media, or creative writing (experience in design, luxury, or architecture industries preferred).
  • Proven success as a Content Marketing Manager or similar role.
  • Strong editorial sense with the ability to anticipate and shape audience preferences.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe InDesign, WordPress, and digital marketing tools.
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices and analytics.
  • Passion for the design world, with awareness of industry trends and cultural moments.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative spirit with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.

Compensation
This is a full-time, exempt position based in our New York showroom.

Salary: $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
