Scope of Work
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance the brand’s presence, attract customers, and drive sales. The role includes leading the marketing team, ensuring effective coordination with the Social Media Manager and Creative Director, and overseeing campaigns, creative direction, and content strategies. The Marketing Manager ensures all marketing efforts align with the overall goals of Trace Hospitality https://www.tracehospitality.ae/ and its Subsidiaries while maintaining synergy with HR, Finance, and Operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Brand Strategy & Planning
- Promote internal and external brand engagement, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
- Identify corporate brand profiling to create targeted positioning for Trace Hospitality and its Subsidiaries.
- Serve as a passionate brand advocate, building strong community connections.
- Implement and monitor brand and product initiatives across all platforms.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to align creative outputs with brand identity and objectives.
- Spearhead high-level marketing and social media campaigns in collaboration with the Social Media Manager.
2. Marketing Strategy & Campaigns
- Develop and implement overarching marketing strategies to promote Trace Hospitality and its Subsidiaries.
- Approve and oversee social media strategies, content pillars, and campaign calendars created by the Social Media Manager.
- Guide promotional campaigns (email marketing, in-store promotions, influencer activities) ensuring consistency with brand standards.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director on campaign visuals, branding materials, and creative storytelling.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, refining strategies to maximize engagement, lead generation, and ROI.
- Conduct market intelligence, including brand, market, and competitor analysis, to inform decision-making.
3. Financial & Operational Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage the marketing and branding budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Track and report marketing expenditures, ensuring ROI and alignment with budgetary goals.
- Collaborate with Finance to forecast and analyze sales trends, adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Provide leadership with updates on financial impacts and recommend improvements or investments.
4. Collaboration & Cross-Departmental Work
- Ensure cross-functional alignment with Operations, HR, and Finance on key initiatives.
- Partner with HR to integrate marketing strategies into internal communications and staff engagement.
- Develop content in collaboration with stakeholders, the Creative Director, and Social Media Manager, ensuring timely execution.
- Guarantee that marketing initiatives support broader business objectives.
5. Leadership & Team Development
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to the Social Media Manager, Creative Director, and wider marketing team.
- Ensure clear role delineation within the marketing function to avoid duplication of efforts and improve efficiency.
- Foster collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team.
- Lead weekly marketing alignment meetings to monitor progress, assign responsibilities, and resolve challenges.
6. HR Responsibilities
- Collaborate with HR to design and deliver staff training on brand standards, customer service, and marketing practices.
- Support recruitment efforts by creating job postings and participating in interviews for marketing-related roles.
- Promote a positive workplace culture through employee engagement and internal communications initiatives.
7. General Responsibilities
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of Trace Hospitality and its Subsidiaries’ products, services, and brand identity.
- Ensure compliance with advertising, legal, and data privacy regulations.
- Stay updated on hospitality marketing best practices, competitor activities, and industry trends.
- Represent Trace Hospitality and its Subsidiaries professionally in all internal and external interactions.
- Champion cohesive marketing efforts across departments to reinforce organizational goals.
