Key responsibilities
- Strategy and planning: Develop and execute marketing strategies and go-to-market plans specifically for security products or services.
- Content and messaging: Create and oversee the production of security-focused content, such as white papers, case studies, and website copy, to clearly communicate the company's value proposition.
- Campaign management: Design, launch, and manage marketing campaigns across various channels to generate demand and build awareness, including online, events, and thought leadership programs.
- Performance analysis: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure campaign effectiveness, analyze marketing data, and make data-driven adjustments to strategies.
- Budget management: Manage the marketing budget to ensure effective allocation of resources across different programs and activities.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as product management, sales, engineering, and corporate security, to align marketing efforts with business goals.
- Brand building: Maintain a consistent brand identity and messaging across all marketing materials and represent the company at security events.
- Team leadership: Lead, manage, and mentor a team of marketing professionals to achieve departmental objectives.
Required skills and qualifications
- Proven experience in a marketing leadership role, preferably in the cybersecurity or identity management sector.
- Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and web analytics tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating customer-facing content.
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
- Experience with budget management and team leadership.
