Marketing Manager – Sports Franchise (Full-Time, Bangalore)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing the marketing strategy for Bangalore Jawans, one of the leading pickleball teams . You will lead marketing campaigns, drive fan engagement, manage sponsorship activations, and collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver measurable outcomes. The role also requires coordinating with vendors, agencies, and partners to ensure seamless execution across tournaments, creatives, and merchandising. You should have a strong background in sports or entertainment marketing, with excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute annual marketing and communication plans aligned with business goals
• Design and implement integrated campaigns for matches, players, and fan engagement
• Manage digital platforms including website, social media, and fan apps
• Coordinate with creative and social media agencies to ensure brand consistency and timely delivery
• Collaborate with sales teams to support sponsorship acquisition and activations
• Organize and oversee marketing for local tournaments, the league, and other major events
• Drive match-day promotions, contests, and community outreach programs
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee merchandising strategies and execution
• Oversee production of collaterals, advertisements, and media communications
• Track marketing KPIs, campaign ROI, and present regular performance reports
• Prepare and manage the marketing budget for optimal resource utilization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sports Management, or related field
• 5–8 years’ experience in marketing (preferably in sports, entertainment, or media)
• Proven expertise in digital marketing, sponsorship management, and brand communication
• Experience coordinating with agencies, vendors, and partners
• Strong leadership, project management, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with tight timelines
• Passion for sports and fan engagement
