Marketing Officer

Role Overview

The Marketing Officer for Homemade by Earth will oversee all marketing activities to elevate the brand as a destination for artisanal, sustainable baked goods and an extension of the Earth Organic Coffee lifestyle. This role will focus on building emotional connections with customers, driving foot traffic to the bakery, and positioning Homemade by Earth as a leader in mindful indulgence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Development & Strategy

Create and implement a yearly marketing plan that aligns with Homemade by Earth’s ethos of natural ingredients, craftsmanship, and community.

Strengthen the brand identity visually and verbally across all customer touchpoints (logo, packaging, tone of voice).

Highlight key messages such as “handcrafted, wholesome, and earthy indulgence” to differentiate the bakery in the market.

2. Content Creation & Visual Storytelling

Develop mouth-watering content for social media, website, newsletters, and in-store screens (photos, videos, animations, captions).

Collaborate with designers and photographers to ensure the brand’s earthy and minimalistic aesthetic is consistently applied.

Tell stories about seasonal creations, artisan techniques, and the inspiration behind each product.

3. Customer Engagement & Community Building

Build a sense of community through thoughtful engagement with customers online and offline.

Design and launch customer loyalty programs or initiatives that align with the brand’s premium feel.

Plan and host bakery pop-ups, tasting events, or collaborations to make Homemade by Earth a cultural touchpoint.

4. Digital Marketing & E-Commerce

Manage all social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) with a focus on creating an aesthetically curated feed.

Oversee paid advertising campaigns and influencer partnerships to increase brand awareness and customer acquisition.

Maintain and optimize the bakery’s e-commerce platform for pre-orders, delivery, and seasonal promotions.

5. Product & Seasonal Campaigns

Work with the bakery team to plan seasonal product launches and design creative campaigns around them.

Ensure packaging, signage, and displays reflect the high-end, organic brand image.

Promote gift boxes, cakes, and other hero products for special occasions (Eid, Christmas, Mother’s Day, etc.).

6. Partnerships & PR

Build relationships with lifestyle bloggers, food influencers, and eco-conscious brands for collaborations.

Secure press features in lifestyle magazines, blogs, and local media.

7. Data & Insights

Track sales trends, customer behavior, and marketing campaign performance to inform future strategies.

Conduct regular competitor analysis and stay updated on bakery and food trends globally.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of marketing experience in F&B, retail, or lifestyle brands.
  • Strong visual and aesthetic sense, with experience in social media management.
  • Creative thinker with excellent storytelling skills.
  • Passion for food, wellness, and sustainable living.
  • Project management skills and the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
  • Growth in social media engagement and followers.
  • Increase in foot traffic and in-store sales.
  • Successful seasonal campaigns and product launches.
  • Customer loyalty program participation and retention rates.
