Position Summary: The Marketing Operations Intern will support both the Marketing and Operations teams by assisting with campaign coordination, project organization, data management, and general administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn how marketing and operational workflows connect within the payment processing and fintech environment. The intern will help maintain marketing systems, support internal documentation, and provide administrative assistance to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to resolve complex inquiries. Possess deep knowledge and understanding of industry concepts, practices, procedures, and guidelines. Perform a variety of tasks and reports to a leader. Must be sensitive to confidential matters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.
Marketing Operations:
● Assist with planning, scheduling, and tracking marketing campaigns across email, social media, partner channels, and internal calendars.
● Update and maintain CRM, marketing databases, dashboards, content libraries, and internal operational documentation to ensure accuracy and organization.
● Conduct industry, competitor, and partner research to support go-to-market initiatives, ISV programs, and broader marketing strategy.
● Support the creation, editing, and updating of marketing materials—including presentations, one-pagers, white papers, case studies, newsletters, website content, videos and external communications.
● Assist with content development and execution for social media, blogs, press releases, promotional collateral, and other digital channels, ensuring brand and compliance alignment.
● Contribute to project coordination for marketing events, trade shows, campaign execution, and email creation/distribution.
● Gather analytics, compile performance summaries, and assist with reporting to support ongoing campaign measurement and optimization.
● Familiarity with website development, SEO and analytics
Administrative Support:
● Support meeting logistics including scheduling, calendar updates, note-taking, and action-item follow-up.
● Assist with office operations including but not limited to greeting visitors, answering calls, sorting mail, or upkeep of common areas.
● Help track office inventory needs and coordinate supply replenishments.
● Assist with internal events, trainings, or team activities by managing simple logistics or preparing materials.
● Perform a variety of tasks and provide support as needed.

Education/Experience:
● Bachelor’s Degree (B.A) from four-year College or university, and four to ten years experience.
● Experience in payment processing, merchant services, and/or financial services preferred.
Language Ability:
● Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
● Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
● Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability:● Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.● Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability:
● Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
● Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word processing, marketing tools and software platforms, spreadsheets, e-mail, and CRM.
