Marketing Operations Manager (Full-Time, Remote, Contract-to-Hire)

The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Operations Manager to oversee client projects and streamline internal processes. This role ensures work is delivered on time, within scope, and with clear communication between clients and our creative, development, and marketing teams.

You’ll lead client onboarding, manage timelines and deliverables, and serve as the friendly face for clients during reporting calls. You’ll also support proposals by drafting timelines, deliverables, and scopes of work — helping streamline how we win and deliver projects.

Additionally, this role will own operational improvements by building SOPs, standardizing reporting cycles, and supporting LinkedIn content execution (scheduling/publishing strategist-provided posts).

Responsibilities

  • Lead client onboarding, gather assets, and set clear expectations.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables using Monday.com (or similar).
  • Coordinate tasks with designers, developers, SEO, and paid ads specialists.
  • Serve as a client-facing point of contact for onboarding and reporting calls.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly performance reports with input from strategists.
  • Schedule and publish LinkedIn posts provided by our strategist.
  • QA deliverables before client delivery.
  • Draft timelines, deliverables, and scopes for proposals.
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal processes (onboarding, SOPs, reporting).

Qualifications

  • Strong project management skills (Monday.com, Asana, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Understanding of digital marketing basics (paid ads, SEO, LinkedIn).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving problems.
  • Agency experience preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Full-time, remote schedule (40 hrs/week). This is a dedicated position, and we ask that candidates treat it as their primary daytime role to ensure availability for clients and team collaboration.
  • Contract-to-Hire arrangement: Start as a contractor with the intention to transition into a permanent role.
  • Salary: $55,000 – $70,000 annually (depending on experience).
