Senior Manager, Paid Media

The Senior Manager of Paid Media role is responsible for overseeing and executing Azamara Cruises’ paid advertising strategies and initiatives. This role is pivotal in generating brand awareness, driving customer acquisition, optimizing conversion funnels, and maximizing relevance and ROI across digital and traditional channels. The Sr. Manager will collaborate across cross functional teams for input on key brand and product messages, consumer insights and segments, business needs, website metrics, and financial management. The role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute audience-first, insight-driven paid media strategies aligned with brand priorities that maximize relevance and ROI:
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive digital and traditional paid advertising strategies aligned with business goals and identified target consumer demographic.
  • Oversee paid advertising, SEO/SEM, traditional channels, programmatic advertising, CTV, display and retargeting, paid social media, and other digital channels.
  • Identify and implement innovative media partnerships
  • Champion innovation in media through test and learn programs with learn with paid advertising tactics, formats, and creative.
  • Deliver leads to website and call centers in line with KPI goals by month and year.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize user experience and conversion funnels for improved acquisition and retention.
  • Implement robust tracking and analytics systems to measure and analyze campaign performance. Monitor and optimize campaigns in real time based on KPI’s including ROAS, CTR, CPC, conversion rate, and calls.
  • Provide regular, data-driven reports to key stakeholders, highlighting KPIs and actionable insights.
  • Stay on top of marketing and media trends, competitor activity, and channel innovations to feed into optimization and testing.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Manage direct report, providing guidance, mentorship, and setting clear performance objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that aligns marketing efforts with business goals.
  • Partner with Creative teams for ad visuals, copy, video, formats, etc.) to shape media-first creative concepts
  • Partner with CRM and Analytics team on consumer segments, key data points as well as performance insights.
  • Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage the paid advertising budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum ROI and accurately forecasted by month.
  • Partnership and Vendor Management:
  • Owns strategic agency relationships
  • Cultivate relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to enhance paid advertising capabilities that drive results.
  • Negotiates contracts and scopes
  • Negotiate contracts and agency rates ensuring fair and sharp pricing

Requirements:

SKILLS

  • 6+ years managing paid media across linear and digital channels, from strategy to activation
  • Proven success in omnichannel media planning and performance optimization
  • Deep understanding of media technologies (including proficiency in ad platforms), systems, and the external media landscape
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Strong analytical, project management and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and deadline driven, with a strong sense of ownership over work
  • Excited to learn, experiment and grow in a fast-paced, lean company environment
