About the Role

Job Title: Marketing Operations Specialist
Location: Seattle, WA (hybrid)
Department: Corporate Marketing
Reports to: Vice President of Corporate Marketing

ROLE SUMMARY

The Marketing Operations Specialist is a key member of the Corporate Marketing team and supports firmwide marketing programs across the organization.

This role focuses on execution and optimization of marketing infrastructure, corporate communications, digital presence, and strategic marketing initiatives.

You will partner closely with senior leadership and internal stakeholders to ensure marketing platforms, communications, and materials remain accurate, aligned, and consistent with Kidder Mathews brand standards.

This position is based at our headquarters in downtown Seattle and will require full-time, in-office presence (five days per week) during the first three months to support onboarding and ramp-up. Following that period, the role will transition to a hybrid schedule.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

Corporate Communications Support & Brand Alignment
  • Manage and maintain corporate capabilities brochures and collateral across divisions and specialty groups, ensuring alignment with Corporate Marketing messaging and brand standards
  • Lead development and distribution of corporate eblasts, including company wins and institutional communications
  • Manage top producer brokerage eblast processes, timelines, and content coordination
  • Support divisions (Research, Valuation Advisory Services, Asset Services, Brokerage) with marketing and presentation materials, including market report production, presentation decks, and thought leadership collateral
  • Assist with layout, formatting, and brand alignment of presentations for conferences, client events, and industry events
  • Support Corporate Marketing advertising and thought leadership initiatives
  • Lead coordination of corporate signage requests across all offices, partnering with marketing leadership and Design Team on custom or non-standard requests
Digital & SEO Strategy
  • Conduct and lead competitive research to inform website content strategy and specialty group marketing initiatives
  • Support and help drive SEO/GEO initiatives through content optimization and implementation on kidder.com
  • Manage office citation updates and business listings to strengthen search engine optimization and digital presence
  • Oversee accuracy and maintenance of Google Business office listings and corporate profile information
Infrastructure & Systems
  • Support and help drive intranet content review and updates, ensuring readiness for platform enhancements and restructuring while supporting the ongoing evolution of the site
  • Manage coordination of Kidder U webinar setup and internal training logistics including branding, communications, and scheduling
  • Assist in evaluation and coordination of Corporate Marketing vendors
  • Manage corporate memberships and dues administration
Executive Support & Reporting
  • Assist in developing and formatting Shareholder and Board presentation materials
  • Help prepare, review, and finalize Board minutes and documentation
  • Process expense reports, reconcile credit card statements, and assist with financial reporting
  • Perform other duties or projects as assigned
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate required
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, corporate marketing, or related field required
  • Experience supporting marketing systems, digital platforms, and corporate communications initiatives required
  • Experience coordinating marketing collateral, content distribution, or brand governance preferred
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs (especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) preferred
  • Familiarity with project management software, such as Smartsheet, preferred
  • Familiarity with SEO/GEO, content distribution, and corporate communications workflows preferred
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and execute within a deadline-oriented environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel), including data organization
  • Ability to quickly learn proprietary software and systems
  • High-level grammatical, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Customer-service oriented with a keen ability to build relationships with brokers, employees, leadership, and clients
  • Demonstrated high level of initiative and strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to translate brand standards into consistent execution across various forms of media
  • Ability to think strategically regarding marketing initiatives and goals based on past performance and market context
  • Must maintain professional image and demeanor
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree preferred in marketing, graphic design, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is a standard office environment with typical noise such as talking, copier/printer equipment, etc.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is often active and may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching. The employee must sometimes lift and/or move items up to 10 pounds. The employee must frequently sit and use a computer for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities are required to do this job including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
