Marketing Project & Events Specialist

Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive, organized, and execution-driven Marketing Project & Events Specialist to support Yalla’s marketing and communication initiatives.

This role is primarily focused on project management, event coordination, and external communication, with additional involvement in social media, PR coordination, design collaboration, and product-related communication support. The ideal candidate should be confident in cross-functional coordination, capable of representing the company in external settings, and able to ensure smooth execution of key initiatives from planning to delivery.

We are specifically looking for a professional Arabic speaker with excellent English communication skills , who understands local culture and can work effectively in an international environment.


Key Responsibilities

1.Project Management (50%)

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional marketing and communication projects from planning to execution
  • Build timelines, define deliverables, align stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule
  • Track progress, manage priorities, and proactively resolve issues that may impact execution 
  • Coordinate with internal teams including marketing, product, design, and other business functions to ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Support the overall execution of strategic initiatives that require strong ownership and structured follow-up 

2.Events Management (15%)

  • Plan and support company participation in external events, conferences, partner meetings, and brand activities
  • Represent the company professionally in selected industry events, meetings, and communication opportunities
  • Coordinate event preparation, logistics, schedules, materials, and on-site execution
  • Follow up on event outcomes and ensure internal alignment on next steps 

3.Social Media & PR (15%)

  • Support social media and PR initiatives through coordination, execution, and communication alignment
  • Assist with content planning, publishing workflows, and campaign-related communication
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure timely delivery of PR and communication materials
  • Help maintain consistency across external messaging and communication outputs 

4.Group Design Coordination (10%)

  • Coordinate with internal design stakeholders to support campaign and communication needs
  • Prepare briefs, collect feedback, and ensure required materials are delivered on time
  • Support alignment between visual outputs and overall project or campaign objectives 

5.Product Management Support (10%)

  • Support communication with platform partners such as Apple App Store and other external stakeholders
  • Assist with featuring submissions, follow-ups, and related communication processes
  • Coordinate with product and marketing teams on timelines, updates, and collaboration opportunities
  • Help organize product-related communication materials when needed.


Requirements

Core Qualifications

  • Professional Arabic speaker with excellent English communication skills
  • Strong project management and coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Strong sense of ownership, follow-through, and execution
  • Comfortable representing the company in external meetings, events, and professional settings

Experience

  • Experience in project management, event management, marketing operations, PR, communications, or related fields
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners or agencies
  • Experience supporting events, conferences, or external communications is a strong plus
  • Experience in social media or PR coordination is preferred
