We are seeking a motivated and organized Marketing & Recruiting Assistant with a healthcare background to support patient recruitment and community outreach efforts for clinical research studies. Ideal candidates may have experience as a Medical Assistant (MA), Paramedic, EMT, Patient Care Coordinator, CNA, Medical Office Assistant, or similar healthcare role.
This position combines patient engagement, physician outreach, marketing coordination, and administrative support under the direction of management.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and research Electronic Health Records (EHR) to identify potential study participants according to protocol criteria
- Conduct recruiting and follow-up phone calls with potential participants in a professional and compassionate manner
- Assist with patient scheduling and recruitment tracking
- Visit physician offices, healthcare facilities, and community organizations to promote clinical research studies
- Build and maintain professional relationships with physician offices and referral sources
- Assist with creating marketing materials, social media posts, flyers, and digital advertisements
- Support community outreach events, health fairs, and educational activities
- Maintain accurate recruitment logs and communication records
- Ensure all activities comply with HIPAA, privacy, and company policies
- Perform additional marketing and administrative tasks under managerial direction
Qualifications
- Healthcare background required; examples include:
- Medical Assistant (MA)
- Paramedic or EMT
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Medical Office Assistant
- Patient Care Coordinator
- Clinical Research Assistant or similar healthcare experience
- Experience in clinical research, medical offices, patient interaction, recruiting, or marketing preferred
- Comfortable communicating with patients, physicians, and healthcare professionals
- Understanding of medical terminology and patient confidentiality
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and social media platforms
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
