The Area Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration within key North African countries. This role requires a highly motivated and experienced individual with a proven track record of success in managing distributor relationships, developing sales strategies, and executing marketing campaigns within the consumer electronics industry in Africa. The successful candidate will be based in Dubai but will require extensive travel throughout the region.
Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
· Achieve and exceed sales targets within assigned North African countries.
· Manage existing distributor relationships and develop new partnerships in target markets where Sony currently lacks representation.
· Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to each country's unique market dynamics.
· Forecast sales accurately and manage inventory levels with distributors to optimize stock levels and minimize risk.
· Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
· Regularly report on sales performance, market insights, and competitor analysis.
Marketing Management:
· Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans for assigned countries, aligning with Sony's overall regional strategy.
· Coordinate and manage various marketing activities, including digital marketing, promotional campaigns.
· Track and analyze marketing campaign effectiveness to optimize ROI.
Relationship Management:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and partners in North Africa.
Provide ongoing support and training to distributors on sales and marketing best practices.
